"Kurt showed up on time and installed a shower door for my new Shower! He was very professional and kind with a very low cost to perform work that other carpenters turned down! He was very thorough and professional! I was so fortunate and lucky to have such a professional help me on this install when so many turned the task down! He cleaned up the area and spent sometime assisting me on another project in near future! I highly recommend Kurt to anyone who requires a job completed to Professional done with amazing expertise and very reasonable price! Thank you Sir! Leo USN RET"

"I had one mirror taken down that was glued to the wall by the builder DR Horton . I purchased two separate mirrors to be installed. Ron was very professional and courteous. I was very happy with the care he took removing the mirror without it breaking. My new mirrors look great. Thank you Ron"

"Gabe did an outstanding job for me! He was right on time and went right to work assembling a bookcase. It looks fantastic and I love it! He also installed a broom/mop holder in the utility room. Looks great! Gabe is very personable, and I'm so glad to know there's someone I can trust with handyman needs and reasonable prices. I highly recommend Gabe!"

Customers say: True professional

"This remodeling took 3 months and was very extensive due to the kitchen and master bathroom were leveled down to the foundation slab. Everything was replaced in kitchen; lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, cabinets, all appliances, added trash compactors, painting, replacing baseboards, backsplash tile and mural. Master bathroom included moving a couple walls, lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, replacing baseboards and adding quarter-round, changing ceiling texture, and painting. I mention this list (which isn't comprehensive) to give you an idea of the extensive amount of work. This is important because I have a very keen eye for the quality of a contractor's work, due to my skills, and I used to be in the contracting business for a short time many years ago. My observations are to make sure all work agreed on and changes are in writing, because it will help everyone involved agree to the work required. We disagreed on a few changes, but Jimmie was professional and we came to an understanding that worked for us both. If your work is a major project like mine was then expect delays like I did. He expected 6-8 weeks and it took 11 weeks. That's not bad. We had to find another tile crew which is what delayed the project. That's not Jimmie's fault, but every contractor needs to have other people to call to pick up the slack. The quality of the work IS top quality, He is respectful and do clean up there daily trash. The painting is great if Brian does that work. Lastly, they DO show up to do repairs after the work is done, but it may take a couple requests to pin down a time. That's really good when they're backed up several months like everyone."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Avoid contractors who cannot produce a valid state license or proper liability insurance before starting pool and spa service. A quote lacking local permit fees is a major warning sign. Watch out for out-of-town companies appearing after FL storms, as they lack an established regional history. A reliable professional always includes specific treatments for local soil conditions.

Helpful?

Intense UV exposure and high summer heat in Pace degrade surfaces and accelerate algae growth, requiring strict chemical maintenance. Protect your equipment from winter freezes to prevent cracked plumbing. You must also account for sandy soil conditions and high iron levels in private wells. Proper equipment anchoring ensures your pool and spa service endures severe storms.

Helpful?

Combine pool and spa service with electrical panel upgrades, screen enclosure repairs, or irrigation adjustments to consolidate contractor visits. Submit these combined exterior projects as a single homeowner association request to streamline approvals. Complete this work before late May to protect incomplete projects from Pace storm damage. Sequence the trades carefully to prevent local inspection scheduling delays.

Helpful?

Account for local floodplain regulations if your property sits near river tributaries. Install surge protectors and backup power for your equipment to handle frequent FL power outages. Follow county environmental rules regarding safe water discharge when draining your system. Because the area is growing rapidly, book your pool and spa service early to navigate tight contractor schedules.

Helpful?

Start by securing all required local permits and homeowner association approvals before beginning pool and spa service. Schedule your project between October and February to avoid the peak summer rush and FL hurricane season delays. If your home uses a private well, test the water first. High iron levels require specific chemical treatments during the startup phase.
