Customers say: Super punctual

"Great work, was very prompt to respond with a same day visit to view the job. Did a great job on a large yard cleanup that was extremely overgrown and removing all weeds throughout yard and garden beds. Extremely thorough. Will definitely hire for weekly for lawn care and other landscaping projects."

"Very competent service. Steven provided us with a contract spelling out exactly the work we requested. His team showed up on time and completed the work ahead of time. The work involved removing a section of the front lawn, and grass side strips, and replacing them with pebbles to reduce water usage. Steven's team went the extra mile by incorporating some of the better sod they'd removed into the remaining lawn in order to improve its look and quality. Their clean-up afterwards was exemplary. Highly recommended!"

"Rubbish Works Junk Removal of Land O Lakes. Very professional, prompt, and reliable. Trucks look nice and clean. Crew is caring and super helpful removing our 'junk' like old furniture, old boxes, broken toys and tools, and old office and garage stuff, and a back porch full of construction materials and debris, including an old jacuzzi whirlpool hot tub spa. It was time for a cleanout, and they were ready to get the job done quickly, and for a good price. Highly recommended."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.
