"We had the pleasure of meeting and hiring Thyrone and Diana of Proteksol Sun Solutions. They installed solar film on our 4 large west side windows to cool down our bedrooms during the day. We are able to enjoy our bedrooms any time now as the temperature in those rooms are significantly cooler than before. We are able to see out through our wood blinds and the view is spectacular!! "Jan of 2020 I thought I was going to have a good session with them a gentleman came out gave us a quote I told him what My goal to achieve how much tinting I wanted he said he understood. No samples he didn’t have any samples. after the job is complete I was not happy at all so I call them and to my dismay they pretty much told me there’s nothing they can do!!! I called another Company who says they bring samples with them so I now have them doing my other windows. What a difference having samples put on your windows you get to look at them for a few days then make your decision. I lived and learned don’t ever go with that first choice and think people will do the right thing. So disappointed that I spent all this money and didn’t get the satisfaction or customer service from suntamers! Do not buy from them unless you can see samples! They don’t stand by their product or their word!"

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"tHE SALES PERSON rene STOOD UP 3 X AND THE LAST TIME SAID SHE WAS GOING TO GET T HE PERMIT AND DID NOT GET THE PERMIT APPLICATION A FEW WEEKS LATER installation was partially rejected b y city of Bonita. Took numerous calls to Storm smart to get service person back They omitted caulking and the screen did not fit flush to the floor Sloppy work. In addition the screen in one corner is creased . Waiting for response from Storm Smart I have had 4 customer service reps Evidently they cannot keep help Every time I call (waiting time e is very long) the person apologizes for the poor service. Instead of spending so many $ advertising spend it on better customer attention ands ervice"

"Damage to Septic Drainage field. They blamed it on their own third party contractor and told me to take it up with them. Nice. Faux Inspection: I was told there would be a legitimate inspection by a private third party. In fact, the “inspection” amounted to one of their employees sending a few photographs and a very short video call. It was not a true inspection by any standard. It was a joke. Ridge Shingles: Attached pictures of the ridge shingles. I'll let them speak for themself. Kelly Roofing’s Response: "Well, it passed inspection." (See previous item.) (Every roofer that has looked at it says it needs to be fixed.) Kelly has looked at it and done nothing. Blocked Circulation: After it had passed their private party “inspection”, another roofer informed me that insulation was covering up virtually all of the soffits! This is a VERY big deal. Improper circulation can lead to mold, premature failure of the roof, and void out the manufacturer's warranty. I expressed major concerns about circulation given the materials they recommended even before any work had begun, and they assured those materials would be fine because there would be plenty of circulation. See attached photos of the roof that were taken during the roof installation. You can see the plywood they removed (far more than initially estimated by the way). Whether they moved the insulation in the process of replacing the plywood or not, the insulation is clearly blocking all airflow from the soffits. I even personally expressed concerns to the project supervisor about blocked circulation through the soffits at this point and he assured me it would be taken care of. It wasn't. When insulation is preventing circulation in the roof, a reasonable, professional, and appropriate course of action from a roofing company would be to pause the project, inform the homeowner, and discuss solutions for unblocking the soffits before proceeding. Kelly Roofing’s Response, when I confronted them about this: insulation work isn’t “in the contract” and it was “not within the scope of their work.” Really? Is that what you expect from a reputable roofing company?"

"We selected Active Door & Window based on a recommendation from a very satisfied neighbor. We found the price to be competitive and the workmanship superior. It was amazing how clean our condo was after the window installation. You could not tell we had any construction done. We did have a couple issues that needed to be addressed following the installation and their prompt attention to our needs was commendable. They are very customer service oriented. We recommended them to another of our neighbors and they too remain extremely satisfied."
