"Active Door & Window primarily supply's and installs PGT Window and Door products. We field measure, order and then install the products. Upon arrival at the customer's home, our salesman was told by the customer that we would only be needed to price the installation of windows in her home,and that she would be ordering the windows from the manufacturer, PGT Industries. We were asked to fill out a PGT order form at her house, which is not what we do. Our ordering department, in our main office, does all the PGT ordering and fills the forms out there. Since we were NOT ordering product, she was to do the ordering herself, our salesman was not incorrect in stating to the customer that he did not want to be responsible for any mistakes in measuring / ordering of her windows. Also, the statement made by the customer in her review is NOT correct when she stated "that he would charge me triple the price of the window because he has to make his cut." Our salespeople at Active Door & Window do NOT receive a commission on any products that we sell or install. We always strive to represent Active Door & Window with complete professionalism in all areas of sales, installation and service and we believe we have done so throughout our 48 years in business."
