After finishing the project late, I was disappointed and frustrated with the lack of attention to detail and sloppiness, particularly with the trim and caulking. I will give credit that they offered to come fix the remaining issues that I identified after the install, but I chose not to accept the offer and repaired the issues myself."

Oxygen bleach uses hydrogen peroxide as a base and won’t harm wood when using it as a cleaner. On the other hand, chlorine bleach breaks down wood at the cellular level and causes irreversible harm. The best way to prepare your vinyl fence for a paint job is to clean it with warm, soapy water and rinse it with a hose or pressure washer on a low setting. Be sure to let it totally dry, then sand the surface before applying an epoxy-based primer. After the primer, you're ready to paint your vinyl fence.

You should avoid staining your fence during hot weather or when it’s raining, because heat and moisture can make the stain dry unevenly. Instead, the best time to stain a fence is when the weather is dry and temperatures are between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Typically, spring and fall are the best seasons for a fence-staining project.
