First Place Painting did an amazing job in our mudroom and room over our garage. The prep they did was so thorough and detailed - it’s often something other painters skimp on. Super professional, always on time, cleaned up after their work, and the project manager checked in to make sure the we were happy with the job. We would hire them again!

They were on time, efficient, and very professional. Drop cloths ensured no paint on the new floors or carpets. We had one issue with a door not the proper color. Bill had someone back the next day to make it right. Outstanding work at a fair price. I strongly recommend them for any painting needs!

First Place Painting is an outstanding professional company in which I had an absolute great experience with my "man cave" project. Bill presented himself and the company very well during my initial free consultation and he was not to be the only shining star of this company as his crew proved themselves to just as worth of the five stars I gave them. Dylan shared some great ideas with a great vision for what I was trying to accomplish, he added value to my project so I had no issue with paying for the upgrades he suggested. George was Ray were early to the site and stayed late in order to meet a deadline of getting this project ready for SuperBowl LIII. When I asked any of them to do more based off of how I envisioned the project as it was moving along they acquiesced without hesitation. This is truly a First Place Painting company that is truly concerned with getting it right the "Ferst" time!!! Thank you so much to the entire team....

Excellent. Bill was very responsive and worked hard to meet my tight timeline. The three team members, George, Don and Ray were professional, punctual, and very pleasant to work with. Don’s skill in getting our 25’+ ceiling paintied was most impressive. We will definitely use this company for our future painting projects.

Ed and his crew are friendly, professional, and did an amazing job on our stairwell, hallways, nursery, and bathroom. They were efficient and meticulous to detail. Our upstairs feels like we are in a whole new home. They went above and beyond to touch up the areas of the walls, ceiling, and stairs that needed extra TLC. We would have them back again to tackle some of our downstairs rooms. First Place Painting is a great company to work with and they were able to accommodate our work schedule. Had exterior painting completed in April 2015. Every area that they completed is peeling and needs to be redone. If you do not want your house repainted every 3 years, I would continue your painter search.

Bill provided a professional detailed quote and is responsive. He is the owner and only a sales person. He doesn't do any of the work himself, and doesn't supervise it. The quality of the painting was AWFUL. There were paint splatters on my new hardwood floor, steps and new carpeting. I am not talking about a few spots here and there, I am talking about sloppiness. The lines / cuts look like an ameuter did them. They also were awful at patching and spackling. I was extremely surprised given all of the good reviews, and how professional Bill seemed. Furthermore, the painters that did the work have been with him for a long time. Bill was responsive to my concerns. He reviewed the workmanship and truly felt bad. He was embarrassed and wanted to make it right which made me feel a lot better. He sent in another one of his crew members to clean up the mess, and he was able to improve most of the things, but not all (not is fault). Bill didn't reduced the price for the headaches and stress. I am looking for another painter now and won't consider him because the quality of the workmanship is not acceptable for a professional painting company at his price point.

We were so thrilled with the recent paint job of the of our home. We had a great experience working with Bill and his team. I stressed for quite some time about color choices and I absolutely love the colors in each of our rooms. Ed & Jonathan who painted our home were the best! They were professional and personable as well. Nothing I asked was too much trouble for them. They showed up on time each day, worked very hard and cleaned up so well at the end of the day. I can’t say enough about what a fantastic job they did. Everything turned out perfectly! I would definitely recommend First Place to anyone! EP

First Place Painting painted our entire interior and did a great job. The painters were professional and did excellent work. They took care of moving and covering furniture and then replacing everything back to their original positions. Everything was left clean and in order when they were finished. They were also completely trustworthy which was important because our schedules didn't permit us to be home all of the time when they were working. I highly recommend this company.

First time I've ever had a contractor start and complete the job when they said they would! Connor does a great job with customer service. I live 3,000 miles away from the project site and I felt like he was next door the whole time. He notified me every step of the way and sent "before and after" pictures for confirmation and approval. Beautiful quality work at a competitive price as well.Good contractors are invaluable. First Place Printing is priceless!

First Place Painting (Darren and Paul did the majority of the work) were OUTSTANDING. They were so attentive to us, our wants and needs. This was a very complex job, with old wood board siding (some needed to be replaced) many needed to be filled with compound and then sanded and painted. I truly felt that they were working as if it were their own home. The owner came out promptly when asked and did whatever was needed to accommodate the expected challenges with a home this old. I would recommend them 1000 times over. Some of the best hired contractors we have ever used. HIRE THEM.

Bill Ferst, company owner and Mike Foley worked with me and my architect color designer to plan this job. We met at my home and also at a local paint store to plan the final color selection. We came up with a 4 color paint plan with staining cedar siding shingles and porch floor. This plan was executed with 3 men, Alex, Joel and Jeff, who put it all together in 15 days. The painters were self-starters who were very competent and knowledgeable and moved from one color to another with precision and clean lines They competently managed the challenges of painting the third floor dormer windows by securing sitting ledges to the slate roof. The rotten wood on the ceiling of the front porch was carefully filled in and clever reapirs were made to a damaged porch rafter tail as one of the "long term temporary" solutions required to manage a house of this size and style. All-construction company, painters, architect and family were enormously pleased with ourselves at the "eye popping" beauty of the final result.

They did a great job in prepping for the paint day and the painting itself. When I came home from work that night, the only reason that I know they were there is that there was fresh paint throughout. Two thumbs up for First Place Painting and I would definitely use them again for the rest of my house!
