"Very respectful and pleasant to work with. Had overgrown bushes and shrubs trimmed. Very fast work in hot weather. Cleanup could be better. I'll be picking out the clippings from the bushes and raking for a while. Was unable to trim all of the top of a very large bush that the pole trimmer or saw couldn't reach. Over all I'm pleased with the work and would hire again."

"We would highly recommend Woods Tree Service. Ashley was very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a dead pine tree (a victim of pine beetles ð ¢) in our small fenced backyard. We were able to immediately schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a quote the next day. The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and conscientious. Our tree removal was extremely difficult due to the height of the tree 60â + and itâ s proximity to our house and our fence. Trees that flower in the spring—like dogwood, cherry, magnolia, and pear—should not be pruned during the winter. These spring-flowering plants grow buds on old growth, so you’ll actually remove what would’ve been gorgeous flowering foliage. Instead, wait to prune until right after they bloom, when the flowers fade.

As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. Of course, that can be a lot of fencing for larger trees, which is why our first step is about making difficult decisions on which trees to save.

It may be possible, but transplanting a large, mature tree can be a tricky project, and some trees handle it better than others.
