"Very respectful and pleasant to work with. Had overgrown bushes and shrubs trimmed. Very fast work in hot weather. Cleanup could be better. I'll be picking out the clippings from the bushes and raking for a while. Was unable to trim all of the top of a very large bush that the pole trimmer or saw couldn't reach. Over all I'm pleased with the work and would hire again."

"We would highly recommend Woods Tree Service. Ashley was very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a dead pine tree (a victim of pine beetles ð ¢) in our small fenced backyard. We were able to immediately schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a quote the next day. The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and conscientious. Our tree removal was extremely difficult due to the height of the tree 60â + and itâ s proximity to our house and our fence. Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years. 

Using Epsom salt to kill a tree stump typically takes between six and 12 months. While this may seem like a long time, it is significantly faster than the natural decomposition process, which can take up to seven years. This method is a viable DIY option for stumps that do not pose an immediate hazard. If you need a faster solution, you can hire a professional for stump removal or grinding, though this may cause more damage to the surrounding ground.

If you aren’t sure what you’re doing, be very careful when cutting mature tree roots (roots larger than 2 inches). Root cutting and pruning can affect both a tree’s stability and its ability to nourish itself. Issues during root cutting can result in damage or injury.
