"Very respectful and pleasant to work with. Had overgrown bushes and shrubs trimmed. Very fast work in hot weather. Cleanup could be better. I'll be picking out the clippings from the bushes and raking for a while. Was unable to trim all of the top of a very large bush that the pole trimmer or saw couldn't reach. Over all I'm pleased with the work and would hire again."

"We would highly recommend Woods Tree Service. Ashley was very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a dead pine tree (a victim of pine beetles ð ¢) in our small fenced backyard. We were able to immediately schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a quote the next day. The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and conscientious. Our tree removal was extremely difficult due to the height of the tree 60â + and itâ s proximity to our house and our fence. Large, established tree branches won’t grow roots, but if you find a young tree branch that’s less than about a year old, you’ve got a shot. Put it in water or soil as soon as possible for best results. You’ll know the branch is viable if it’s about the thickness of a pencil and has some leaves or needles.

Steer clear of the area and contact your utility company immediately. It will have a website portal and/or a phone number to report downed trees and electrical issues. If the tree appears to be on public land, you may want to call your local government and report the issue there, too.

Some people prefer to leave or even carve a leftover stump, but we recommend removing it if possible. You can often dig out smaller trunks with a shovel once they have died and dried out. You can have stumps professionally removed, or request a service to grind them down to ground level so they can be replaced with other landscaping or objects.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

Most plum trees are pruned into a vase or open wine glass shape. They’ll have a shorter central leader (the trunk) that supports three to four main branches. Of course, this isn't always the case. If you have a European plum tree, you can grow it in a pyramid shape. Let the central leader extend the length of the tree and prune smaller branches to create the pyramid.
