"Very respectful and pleasant to work with. Had overgrown bushes and shrubs trimmed. Very fast work in hot weather. Cleanup could be better. I'll be picking out the clippings from the bushes and raking for a while. Was unable to trim all of the top of a very large bush that the pole trimmer or saw couldn't reach. Over all I'm pleased with the work and would hire again."

"We would highly recommend Woods Tree Service. Ashley was very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a dead pine tree (a victim of pine beetles ð ¢) in our small fenced backyard. We were able to immediately schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a quote the next day. The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and conscientious. Our tree removal was extremely difficult due to the height of the tree 60â + and itâ s proximity to our house and our fence. You should use an herbicide to kill ivy, such as one with glyphosate, imazapyr, or triclopyr.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

Ideally, you should wait to prune until trees have gone dormant in late fall to early winter. The worst times to prune trees are early fall and late summer, as pruning them so close to dormancy makes it difficult for the tree recover before it goes dormant for the season.
