They were very good.  Very professional.  They have an arborist that are actually here when they are doing it. They aren't cheap, but they are very good. They were very responsive. They were here when they said they would be. They were very safety conscious.  I would use them again. They cleaned up after they were finished and it only took them about 5 hours to complete the job. I would suggest they put on their website that they are licensed and secured.

They came out and they did quite a bit of work and I was quite pleased with what they did. The only thing I was upset about was the fact that I told them I would give them a garbage container for their bottles or whatever so they wouldn't leave them laying around my property. Oh, we'll pick 'em up, we'll pick 'em up, and then I find empty water bottles stuck in the trees and on the grounds and everywhere. Overall, the company did a fantastic job. The only thing I was upset about was the fact that I found empty water bottles on the property and in the trees and they did not pick up their litter, and I specifically told them that that was the one thing I did not wanna see. And they assured me they'd pick up after themselves and they didn't. But as far as the job goes, they did an excellent job. They were quite reasonable as far as the price went, and yes I would use them again, only this time I'd make dang sure that they would pick up their trash after them. On price, I did get a couple of estimates from other people, and they were reasonable. For responsiveness, they were very good. On professionalism, I'd give them an A except for the fact that they didn't pick up their water bottles. It went extremely well. They showed up to work at 8 am and quit around 3:30 pm -- except for the last day which ended around 5. The cost to remove one huge Oak next to the house and pool was $625.

Outstanding service.  Everything was handled with absolute professionalism from the estimate, to the actual work to the cleanup.  If I could give A++++++  as a rating here, I would do so.  My initial call was returned promptly.  Ronnie came out within a couple of days to do the estimate and was very knowledgable and professional.  I was told to expect the work to be done in about two weeks.  About ten days after the estimate, I received a call from Rob, the owner, and we set a schedule for a few days later.  Rob and his crew showed up as scheduled and then brought in another crew a bit later.  When they arrived, I asked Rob to trim two additional smaller trees.  While these trees were smaller, they were a real challenge because Rob had to use a ladder to do the work which is very difficult and dangerous. These guys worked like a well oiled machine with great skill and precision.  They cleaned up the leaves and branches as they worked and when they left, my yard was cleaner than it had been before they arrived.  Not only did these guys do great work, every one of them was congenial and courteous.  Rob, the owner is a fantastic guy -- highly skilled and a super nice person to work with.  Lastly, the price was very reasonable and the charge for the additional two trees was less than I would have expected.  I definitely will be using Backridge Tree Service in the future and give them my highest possible recommendation.

They arrived right on time.  They paid attention to the irrigation lines that were near the trees and shrubs- there were no cuts or breaks in the feeder lines.  They were very careful with their equipment and the removal "tons" of debris.  From beginning to end, I did not have to worry about the air conditioning compressor (which was inches away from where they had to transport the heavy pieces of wood from the Magnolia trees in the back yard through a gate and narrow passage.  They did not damage any of the landscape edging around the garden areas.  
They were extremely professional in appearance and workmanship.  They worked continuously from the time they arrived until the job was done.  The only break they took was for a 1/2 hour (or less) lunch.   I was amazed that they accomplished the job in only one day.
I was thoroughly satisfied and pleased with the work Backridge Tree Services, Inc. did on my property.  I have and will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Everything was completed very professionally. They arrived on time as promised, immediately went to work and completed very quickly. They are insured which is one reason I chose them in case they dropped the tree on mine or my neighbors roof! No concerns though as they quickly took the tree down with no damage to surrounding buildings or cars. They did a great job cleaning up all the debris and sawdust. I cannot even tell where the tree and stumps used to be. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of tree/stump removal.

The guys showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done.  They did a great job, cleaned up and chipped everything.  I would definitely use them again.

Rob (the owner) came by to do an estimate of the cost and to set a work date . . . a very nice guy. He notified me that he would be out of town the week we had scheduled the work, but that his foreman Travis was very dependable.
     The crew arrived around 11 AM on the date Rob had planned. It was clear they had just finished with another job before coming to my house. Travis introduced himself (also a very nice guy) and a few of the crewmen, while I showed him around the yard discussing what Rob and I had planned together. Since it was so close to lunch, the crew sat in the front yard in the shade and had their lunch, resting before starting our job. It was hot and muggy, so the guys needed time to hydrate and recharge before going back to work.
     After lunch they spent the first 30 minutes checking equipment and hauling ladders to the trees that Travis had indicated as starting points. It was amazing to watch as they went through their routines. Certain jobs were done by certain crewmen who took special care of their particular equipment. Others cleaned up falling limbs and palm fronds, carting them off to the trucks. (If you've ever been around Washington Palms you know how razor sharp those fronds are, but these guys never flinched when they picked up huge arm fulls of them to carry them away. They wore gloves, but had on short sleeve shirts.)
     The crew took a couple of water breaks to stay hydrated. I could tell this crew had been together for awhile, as they poked fun at each other and kept the work moving. Anytime someone was seen just standing around, he was immediately accused of slacking on the job. It was clearly a group effort and everyone was expected to carry their weight.
     Their work pace continued until 3 PM when they completed the job. I was expecting to have to do a little raking myself after they left, but they did a thorough job cleaning up. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. They were worth every penny!

Rob came out & provided a verbal estimate. He followed up with an identical written estimate. His team came out when promised,.  The crew did the job quickly and efficiently within two hours including grinding the stump on one tree. They cut the other tree very low which enabled me to apply a herbicide to control any regrowth. Very professional and they did an excellent job cleaning up. I would definitely hire this company again.

Price very fair and comparable to other professional tree trimming companies I have used in my home state.  Congenial, knowedgable and professional crew and owner who know their trade well and interact well with customers.  Punctual arriving at time and day as promised.  Job took about 7 hours.  Work was very efficient and cleaned up very well when job was complete.  Being from another state we do not know many companies in this area, but we really lucked out on this one.  I will use this company again and highly recommend them to others. 
Previously I had obtained an estimate from another company but the estimator was so arrogant that I told him I would not use them. 
Due to some poor companies in this area who take advantage of we part timers who live here only a couple of months a year was the reason that prompted me to join Angie's List.

The whole process from the initial quote to the final clean up went very well. Rob is a hands on personable owner who is fair and professional. We will certainly be recommending him to any of our friends or family who need any type of tree services.

Rob came out & provided a verbal estimate.  He followed up with an identical written estimate and we accepted.  His team came out when promised,.  The crew did the job quickly and efficiently despite having to wedge all their equipment in a small cul-de-sac.  The didn't damage the house or anything else.  The did an excellent job cleaning up.
Rob also answered my questions regarding options to replace the trees and how to better manage some of my other ones.
I used them in 2005, now and will likely again in the future.

1 supervisor & 3 workers did a very good job, all new exactly what to due, good cleanup after the job was complete.

The team showed up exactly on time (as promised) and was set up and ready to go within 20 minutes.  The team followed the script that Mr. Calley laid out to me...to the letter.  The tree was removed in pieces by a climber and the crane while the rest of the team worked on removing the debris and clean-up.  Minimal damage was done removing the fence.  Actually, a lot less of the fence was removed than I originally thought would be.  After the tree was removed, they performed a clean-up which included blowing the twigs,leaves and sawdust off the roof of both houses.  The whole process took about 6 hours.  The Backridge Tree Service Team are total professionals and I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were outstanding. They were anxious, could not do enough to please. I will absolutely use them again in the future.
