"Adrian did a great job. I would recommend him hands down. He replaced my fence in a Timely manner. Reasonable price also cut down some trees for me and I’m going to have him come back and do some painting for me because he did such a great job. He’s also a very nice person."

"Although I had requested and written down the time of the appointment for 11 am and planned for this precise time, the guy didn't show until 12:45 and said sorry for being early (he thought it was for 1 pm).  I had called to inquire about his whereabouts at about 11:45 and had to leave a message - I received a call back later that afternoon from someone who said the original appointment was at 11:30.
Took approximately 10 days to get the estimate back (I was not in a rush and told them that) and it seems high for an electronic gate but I am awaiting other estimates."

Driveway Gates questions, answered by experts

Installation typically takes 1-3 days, depending on the gate type and site conditions.

If you only use your gate as a pedestrian, walking through without a vehicle, you’re fine to stick with a single fence gate. If your fence opening needs to accommodate vehicles of any kind, from cars to trucks to 4-wheelers, then a double fence gate will suit the space much better and give you more freedom.

When choosing a driveway gate, consider the fence material, whether you want an automatic gate or a manual one, and property limitations like the slope of your driveway. We recommend speaking with a professional driveway gate installer to see what types of gates will work on your property based on your fencing or home’s exterior. Keep in mind that driveway gates should range between 10 to 12 feet wide to ensure cars can easily maneuver through the gateway.

Yes, professionals can install gates with locking mechanisms and access control systems for added security.

Fence gates sag because they have no support on the latch side of the gate to help hold them aloft. A gate wheel fixes that problem by providing support for that latch side. Remember that the ground must be level in front of the gate so the wheel can roll freely when you open and close it. If the terrain is uneven or slopes, a gate wheel won’t work.
