They installed black chain link fence with driveway gate but never returned to install the gate motor, left me high & dry & wouldn't return phone calls. Never delivered my permit for the job either.....just disappeared. Now I see they reopened under a diff business address......but same name. WOW Good luck if you hire them

Never got my fence they took my money and ran!

Daniel the salesman was professional and courteous. He gave a projected timeframe for our fence installation but that it could change due to weather and material. My main complaint was with the office. They were with terrible in communicating any delays to us. The saving grace was the installation team (Ryan and crew - 5 stars) their work was top notch. We have small dogs, and they took the time to make sure there were no opening's that our dogs could get out. They were able to start and finish up the same day. Our fence looks awesome and have gotten compliments from several of our neighbors. Great job.......

DO NOT USE SECURA FENCE &RAIL Hi we’re new to the neighborhood. I just wanted to let you know we had a contract to have a fence installed by secura fence and rail. The whole process has been a complete nightmare first with problems getting the fence on the schedule. The install was done very poorly had to have them out several times to try to fix the install. Fence still not correct then I get a call from the manager named Todd demanding a final payment on fence or he will put a LIEN on our home. I told him I would make final payment when the fence was installed correctly.I asked to speak to the owner and was told he’s not available. I asked for his number and was told he would not give it too me. I called the office several times left a message for owner to call me regarding my fence. As of today,I still have not heard anything from the owner. They sent a guy out today to check fence and found several issues with it. Now to see if it’s finally fixed the way it should be. I’m just giving a heads up of the trouble we have had. I would not recommend SECURA FENCE & RAIL very poor customer service.

WORST company ever to deal with. When we initially signed the contract and had to pay a non-refundable deposit of HALF the cost of the fence, we were informed that it would be installed within 6-8 weeks. After that time frame, we'd call only to be ignored. After 11 weeks we confronted them in person and the install took place after 12 weeks of paying the deposit! The job was very shotty. They over-tightened a board to the point that it cracked and bent outward. When we called to complain about it, we were told not to worry as that is NORMAL. The gate door is pretty much falling apart and you can see the numerous holes that this company has made from when they did the install, removing screws when they did the fence treatment, and then from when they came to "fix" the fence. I had to contact the company because our double-wide gate (that we'd only used less than a handful of times) wouldn't close correctly. A person came out (after we had sent a 3rd email request!) and took one of the boards off of the gate and he stated that it was installed incorrectly. Please note, we paid close to $850 for our fence to be treated and by removing that board, we now have wood that is a different color because of it not being treated with the rest of the fence since a wood panel had to be removed. After that we were told that any further work that needed to be done we'd have to PAY them to do it for the materials and such. They do NOT honor their 5 year warranty!!!! They do a shotty install to begin with and make things worse when they come out to do any "repair" work. Our experience in dealing with this company has been a NIGHTMARE to say the least. If you're looking for a new fence, save yourself the trouble and deal with another company! I have plenty of emails as well as photos to back this up!

Terrible. Said they were 3 weeks out. Came 7 or 8 weeks later, after no response to calls. I now have numerous split pickets which were screwed directly into the gate frame with self tapping screws without drilling holes in the wood so as not to cause splitting. After numerous calls to their office which they never answer, nor respond to, we paid them a visit, for which they disclaimed their warranty by saying it only pertains to workmanship not the wood. they weren't the cheapest, but because the advertise as owned and operated by a veteran, and I'm a vet as well and expected better.

I CANNOT recommend Secure Fencing. We had replaced 2 gates costing over $2,000, while installing one of the gates the Secure workman broke our sprinkler pipe. He did not tell us when he completed the fence. After a few days we noticed the grass turning brown, while check the sprinkler heads I notice water coming up from the ground near the post. Since it had been a few days, the water from the pipe they had broken, had wash the dirt around the fence post. I called Secure to told them of the situation, her reply was that they are not responsible for broken pipes (see small print in contract) and to call back when the fence is actually broken. I informed the salesperson about the sprinklers and he insured me they would work around it. Also, once the pipe was broken we should have been told so we could take care of the issue, now it’s a much bigger problem. We believe the issue arose due to the fact they were supposed to send out 2 workers and be down in 1 day. Instead 1 showed up and was “rushing” to complete the job in 2 days. We had to pay for someone to come out to fix Secure mistake and we are stilling waiting for Secure to come out to check the fence to make sure the integrity of the fence is intact due to losing all the dirt around the fence post.

They need to pull it out. I was flooded. So, when they were suppose to do the fence. They told me to take down trees in my neighbor's yard. They wrote down the prices, and the final bill they added to the original estimates. I told them to go ahead and do it, and it was three months until they did it. The guy did not answer the phone. We had a good relationship. The guy's wife was an therapist, and I worked in schools for three years. He was a good salesman, but the follow up in the office is terrible. The secretary would not answer the phone. They were suppose to be out here. They told me the guy left another company because of lack of professionalism. I reminded him of this. He said they were too busy.

Secure Fence and Rail ROCKS!!! Let me start from the beginning....our fence was knocked out when Matthew went though. I contacted the company with a voice mail and through Facebook the day the storm was going through as soon as I saw our fence was down. I explained we had several large dogs, and need our fence fixed ASAP. I had a call back that very same afternoon, and Bobby was out the very next morning to give us an estimate on a new fence. He also had a crew come over and do a temporary fix. What a HUGE help!! (They are also dog people!?) Last week we had the new fence installed. Big, big shout out to the two guys who installed it, Brad and Tony! Not only were they very professional and hard working, but they did a knock out job! It took them less than two days, and our new fence looks awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend this company and would definitely use them again!

The estimator came to visit the property at the time that was scheduled and provided us with a detailed written estimate and advised there was an approximate 4 week lead time. We entered into the contract and the installation crew showed up about a month later and professionally commenced the installation. They did a very good job and cleaned up the work site before they left. Everything was done legit, as they pulled a permit and got the necessary inspections.

I had over 250 linear feet of fence with 3 gates installed in January. It is just beautiful and I enjoy it every morning as I sit on our porch. The guys did a wonderful job of installation. They were very respectful not only of my property, but also that of my neighbors since they had to be in their yards to finish my fence. They quickly dismantled my old fence, hauled it away, and got the posts up for the new fence on the first day. Everything is done legit (permits, surveys,inspections). Bobby came out to give me the free estimate. He was punctual, honest, professional, and straight forward. We found a date that worked with my schedule and demolition started right on time.  Excellent support is offered from their office, as well.  Taylor kept me apprised of any issues and was always available to answer my questions!
While the fence is not cheap (I had one of those before :( ), it is worth every penny!! I am having them come back to stain it once the wood fully dries out. I'm glad there is a true professional fence company near us.

Excellent company and process, from sales consultation to pricing and installation. Quality installation. Job was done efficiently and quickly - team showed up early and finished the same day. Fence looks awesome and have gotten compliments from several neighbors. Will definitely use these guys again when other parts of my fence need replacement.

Outstanding work at a great price.  The team at Secure Fence and Rail new we had a tight timeline to have the pergola installed because of a party we were hosting.  The team came to the house on Saturday morning and had the pergola completed in the afternoon and ready for our evening event!!  Great work, and the pergola is a perfect addition to our complete our outdoor patio.

they were very prompt and professional to visit and do the free estimate. They took a bit longer than anticipated to build the fence, and the sales person completely detached from me once the contract was signed. There was no follow up from him or the company as of the status of the installation unless I initiated it with a phone call. They gave me a day's notice as I requested, but I think I only knew they were coming because I asked.
The day of the job, two men showed up, but a couple hours later I realized there was only one man working. I came out to bring him water and found out the other person was only there to help deliver the material, but he would be working alone because his assistant was hurt on a job recently and is not back yet. For this reason he took a day and a half to finish (which I think was remarkable), but he said under normal circumstances they would have been done in a day for sure.
The gentleman was attentive, courteous, and certainly a hard worker. 
When he finished, there was a lot more lose dirt around the site than I anticipated, but I have to assume that if two people were working, the site would have been left much cleaner, so I don't hold this against him. Overall, I think he did an excellent job. The fence is very straight and looks very neat. They used stainless steel on the gate locks for durability, which is a plus. 
I got a quote from another company for this same job, and a third one that I made an appointment with never showed up for the estimate. SFR offered a competitive price against the other, about $400 less. I am not overly excited and impressed by their customer service, but I would hire them again if I needed this type of service.

From start to finish, I had a good feeling about these guys. This was already an exercise in frustration for us, since this was not a planned expense. Their sales staff were personable and sympathetic.
Their quote was in line with other companies here on Angie's List. I was actually surprised at how close the quotes were. In the end, Secure Fence & Rail ended up being the lowest cost, while providing features like a reinforced gate doors, narrower spreads between posts, and 6x6 gate posts built into the job cost. A few days later, I met with their sales guy, put roughly 50% down on the job, and signed on the dotted line.
I was told it would be roughly 2-3 weeks out, like all the other companies, and that ended up being accurate. They arrived early one morning and set to work. It took about a half of a day. Before starting, they confirmed with me that the installed fence would be a tad higher than the old fence, due to the change in grading of the road behind my house. This was to allow the doors to swing out freely without hitting the dirt road. I appreciated their attention to these sorts of details, and checking with me before starting.
They completely cleared up all remnants of the old, busted fence, trimmed back some of the branches to clear the area they would be installing the new fence (something I never got around to), and then installed one heck of a sturdy fence. All work was done to spec, and I promptly paid them the balance of the bill.
In all, I was pleased with the transaction. The work was completed as mentioned. I would certainly use them again, and refer others to them as well.

Outstanding quality of work and materials.  Very impressed with he design and accuracy of the installation.  Workers were professional and very courteous.  Installation took as advertised, about two days.  Job site cleanup was satisfactory and the owner himself came out to inspect the job and correct one minor area of concern.
It took about two months from time of order to fence install, which was longer than discussed in the original order.  My understanding is this was a materials supply issue and the selection of non-stock arch gateways.
Company arranged all permits and even a professional survey before install.  County permit inspection was also arranged and executed without my involvement (which was nice).
Price per foot was a little higher than some other quotes, but quality and use of fence sections with no exposed fasteners is superior to other fences in my neighborhood.
