"My pool pump and light were not working. I found a few pool companies online and called a few. As usual none showed up all with a story about why they didn't. Finally called Chris at Herndon Pool repairs and More and he called me right back. We worked out a time when he would come by and he showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Could not have been a better experience. I now have a pool company I can call and I know they will show up and do a good job. Call you will not be disapointed."

"We recently completed a pool resurfacing, installation of sundeck and deep end swim out and travertine deck with deck extension. We very satisfied with the finished product. Richie was always a phone call away to assist with any questions or concerns that I had. They were patient and kind and offered suggestions when I was unsure of what to do with design and style/color. We are still waiting for a few finishing touches to be completed and patchwork but for the overall project we are very satisfied and excited to enjoy our new backyard oasis."

"I have so much good say about Martin, the owner, I don't even know where to begin.. Martin is extremely professional. Martin comes when he says he is going to come. Martin arrives even if it is pouring rain. Martin is honest. Martin is extremely knowledgeable. Martin can reverse a pool that should in theory, be drained. Martin picks up the phone everytime I call him, even if it's a bad time for him to speak. He then says he will call me back within 15 minutes. He does! He patiently walked us through, via phone,a difficult removal of a stuck Jandy CS 100 filter top when it wouldn't come off. Martin wears a unique pool servicing get up and interesting shoes that almost look like some form of a wetsuit and flippers?! Point being, is that he is devoted to my pool... He treats my pool like it is a living thing! One day I didn't know if he had serviced or not. I wasn't sure if I had removed the lock on my gate in time, but Martin always comes when he says. In my mind, I thought well, he must have jumped the fence to get to the pool, because that's the kind of guy he is! You absolutely cannot do better than hiring Martin. I have told him he should change his business name to "Martin's Magnificent Pools"! - a now happy owner of a formerly black swimming pool filled with frogs, leaves and who knows what else. Customers say: Quality work

"My name is Ed Contreras I am a spa lover especially Jacuzzi, I know the benefits of hydro therapy, and have been a fan of Jacuzzis for more than 20 years. I used to own a big nice Jacuzzi for 9 years until it was time to change. I was considering many options including building a pool and spa but honestly I did not want to invest too much. Then, I meet Joseph Zakrzewski at Rec Pool and Spa in Broward, he as good salesman he start with the regular sales speech, however, after I explained my needs and experience he start looking for the best fit for me for the price I was willing to pay and the quality I want. After he explained and show me different options I left the store saying I need to see other options which I did, but anytime I find something I thought it was better Joseph explain why it wasnâ  t by text, cell, whatsup you name it, the friendly guy became a friend giving advice. Until I made the final decision and he basically pick the spa for my needs which I love it, few weeks later the sounds system has a small issue and have to deal with the store manager Mike and the technicians to correct the small issue and they went overboard, that is why they got 5 starts from me because their excellent sales advisor, competitive price and quality, outstanding customer service and technician and friendly familiar environment I definitely recommend this team and in 10 years I definitely will be back to change my Jacuzzi! Thanks team and Happy New Years! Ed C."

"It was a seamless process working with Sun Blue. From the very beginning, the salesman offered suggestions without being pushy. The project managers were very helpful and there was no issue changing the pool tile colors at the last minute. It was a wonderful experience. The pool looks lovely. I hired their pool man to maintain the pool afterwards and he the best."

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

To hire a land surveyor, you need to start by searching online for reputable professionals in your area. Here are a few steps to take when making a shortlist:

  • Browse land surveyor service website

  • Check credentials

  • Read customer reviews

  • Find their contact information

  • Call or email to inquire about more information

  • Ask how far they travel, if you’re some distance away

  • Find out how they charge for their services

  • Ask about schedule and turnaround times

  • Repeat these steps for one to two other services and compare pricing

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.
