The owner, Laz, came from Miami to my home in West Delray to give me an estimate. He said my current unit was too small, and that after 12 years it was time to replace it. We agreed on a price, and set an installation day. They came up on a Saturday and installed my new "York 3.5 ton unit." The air handler is in my attic so it was a tad tricky. After a couple of hours the unit was installed! The installers were very quick, informative, knowledgeable, and polite. Laz even came up and explained the work and even offered to file my registration with York. If you want to work with a local company that goes above and beyond to provide excellent service as well as a competitive then Major League Contracting is the company to use. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I received about 6 estimates, all from Angie List suppliers. John's quote, although not the cheapest was very competitive. We talked about timing and materials. John came over on a number of occasions and brought over samples of the materials he would use. He also assured me that his crew would be quick and clean. I was concerned about timing since it was the rainy season. The work started after about 2 weeks of rain delays. Overall, the crew was very quick, clean and courteous. They took care not to damage the rain gutters that I had recently installed even though it clearly stated in the contract that they were not responsible for damage. Some of the soffits and eaves needed to be replaced due to water damage. But, I was not charged additionally for those repairs. John took care of all the permits and inspections. The entire process was turn-key. He also provided me with a mitigation report after the work had been completed in order to get a credit from my insurance provider. Overall, we are very happy with AAA Construction and Restoration Service's work and would recommend them to friends and neighbors."
