"Boris was amazing! He made scheduling a breeze and was here within 24hours. I had a pretty big haul which he knocked out in 30 mins. It also included a king mattress that he brought from downstairs to toss. Couldn’t recommend someone more. We will definitely use his services again!"

"Quality Firm LLC did an amazing job removing over 1,000 sq. ft. of old dirty carpet from my home. They also removed all the tack strips and nails around the edges and made sure everything was completely cleaned up before leaving. They swept every room thoroughly and did not leave until I was fully satisfied with the work. Very hard-working, professional, and respectful crew. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and great service!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

In general, you can’t put old electronics in a dumpster. Not only is it illegal to improperly dispose of electronic waste in some states, but many dumpster companies have banned this type of waste from their dumpsters. It’s better to look into responsible disposal methods and call a junk removal company to pick up your electronic waste or visit an office or store offering electronics recycling.

Focus on decluttering when downsizing to move cross-country. Selling, donating, or recycling unwanted items early in your moving process is key to your success. If you are on the fence about some items, consider storage options, or you can ship these items separately to lessen your load.

The best way to determine the right dumpster size for your project is to speak with a reputable dumpster rental company. Let them know what kind of job you're doing and the types of materials you'll be disposing of. These professionals have experience fitting heavy and bulky items into their dumpsters and can guide you on how to dispose of everything safely and legally. A representative should be able to recommend the best dumpster for your needs. Often, the company will advise you to choose a slightly larger size to help you avoid potential overage charges.

Only throw soil in a dumpster rental if you have permission in your contract to do so. Organic materials such as soil often make the list of items that shouldn't go in a dumpster, but this depends on the agreement. Some dumpster companies will accept non-contaminated soil as well as rocks, yard debris, and compost.

This depends on where you live, but in most cases, it goes in the trash rather than your household recycling since it contains toxic chemicals that standard recycling centers cannot dispose of safely. Some designated recycling centers will take it if they have the necessary equipment to break it down. The manufacturer may offer a recycling program with a designated drop-off site as well.
