"Mark was on time and did a fantastic job. He took out the old toilet and installed a new one. He did a great job cleaning up. We spoke beforehand about the job and price, which was very fair imo. The note we spoke the day he came to install I knew that he was someone who was knowledgeable and competent. I definitely recommend Mark and will use him for any future needs."

"Levi was prompt and competitive with pricing. He communicated well throughout the job. He was generous with his time and friendly with his advice. He wouldn’t take payment before the job was done to satisfaction. I found out he is a veteran, but he didn’t lead with that. He just wanted a satisfied customer. Would hire again!"

I've been doing home repair for more than 10 years. I've seen the ins and outs of building from the ground up. My skills are mainly focused in carpentry and finish work. I have worked all over the panhandle, just making repairs along the way. Let me get your house back to how you want it!

Have every tool you can think of and great and troubleshooting/problem solving. New to area and came here to do air conditioning changeouts with company I've worked with for 16 plus years and ended up being taken for about 5k plus dollars in owed money so until i get licensed here i can do work under a general contractor I've met while here.

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Asbestos has many beneficial properties, including fire resistance, strength, and chemical resistance. It is also an excellent insulator, which is why it was used in pipe insulation and other building materials for decades. For all its benefits, asbestos is dangerous for human health, which is why it was eventually banned from use in certain products.

According to the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), the leading cause of house fires is cooking accidents, followed by fires started by heating equipment. Electrical issues are the third most common cause of house fires. The best way to keep your home protected is to use caution when cooking and never leave a stove or oven unattended while in use. You can also keep up with chimney cleaning and avoid using space heaters to reduce the risk.

No, you should never leave a fireplace burning overnight or unattended during the day. While fireplaces are made to contain fires, fires can and do spread from fireplaces, so it’s crucial that you’re there to monitor them and put them out if needed. If you’re worried about putting out a fire before bed, stop feeding it fuel long before bedtime and actively put out the fire using your poker, a shovel, and some baking soda.

You should have either an ABC or K-rated fire extinguisher in the kitchen. ABC fire extinguishers put out wood, trash, paper, plastic, and textile fires along with grease, oil, gas, kerosene, and electrical fires. A class K fire extinguisher is specifically rated for use in the kitchen and is designed to extinguish combustible cooking materials, including grease and fat.

Chimney caps are necessary both from a building safety standpoint in most municipalities and to keep your home protected from a variety of issues. Chimney caps are not only mandated by building code in most areas, but they also serve to keep squirrels, raccoons, and other pests out of your home, as well as snow and rain. Therefore, they help to avoid property damage, making them a worthwhile investment.
