"This job began on April 8 and ended on September 24. I was promised a 6-week job. I know that jobs take longer, but this job took six months. They didn't want to pull permits, once they decided to, they ran into a problem and then blamed us, the homeowners. Every problem that came along was our fault. Mr. Ciccarello himself screamed at me when I told him the project was over 120 days and threatened to quit with my teenage son present during the encounter. His designer abandoned the project on May 13. The electrician was unprofessional and hostile. I now have lights that flicker and have to hire another electrician to fix the mess. They tore out a closet but did not put it back together and now we have to either do it ourselves or again, hire someone else. They were absent over 60 of the 170 working days. I would not recommend this company to do anything for anyone. The hostility, missing days, and bad work just makes them one of the worse companies to use in the Tampa Bay area."

The height of a mirror behind a vanity depends on several factors, including the height of the vanity, the placement of the faucet (on the wall or countertop), and the height of the faucet. A good rule of thumb is to hang the mirror 5 to 10 inches above the vanity’s highest point. However, you may need to lower the mirror based on the vanity size and overhead lighting placement.

Black spots on the bottom or along the edge of your bathroom mirror are caused by oxidation behind the mirror glass. When moisture and air are trapped between the glass and the backing, they react and cause discoloration. This is sometimes referred to as “mirror rot.” You’ll need to separate the glass and the backing to fully remove it.

While wavy glass is sometimes called antique glass or restoration glass due to the fact that it's found exclusively in older homes, the proper names for wavy glass are actually crown glass and cylinder glass. Most commonly used for circular or portal windows, crown glass was created by manufacturers using a process of blowing and spinning. Meanwhile, cylinder glass was used more commonly because it created large square sheets that could be shaped to fit windows of all shapes and sizes.

Some options, smart tint, are controlled by outdoor heat and light and therefore will turn back to transparent at night. Other types can provide a frosted look for some privacy at night. For example, you can turn PDLC smart glass completely opaque any time, day or night.
