"I had some bigger branches hanging over my house I wanted cut back. Greg was quick to respond to my initial request. We set an apt he showed up on time and said they could be there the next day. I was heading out of town so had to postpone. I reached out when I got back and he offered to come out the next day. Again he showed up on time, we discussed our options, quoted me a fair/reasonable price and he booked me for the following day. His crew arrived on time and they got right to work. They worked carefully and efficiently. Very satisfied with their work and would recommend."

"MasterCraft removed a 1.5 inch thick tile/durarock/plywood countertop, installed butcher block countertop with backsplash in one L and another section to a raised height and installed new sink and dishwasher. The countertop needed a new end cap beside the dishwasher. The work is very good quality and neatly (invisibly) caulked at sink and backsplash. The backsplash was cut to height to better fit the existing wall tile. All waste was hauled away and the kitchen left clean of sawdust. They worked me into their schedule in order to have work completed before the date I needed it to be finished."

"This project was to take down our beloved Maple 'Redd" that was injured during the hurricane. Joseph at The Arborist Group quoted/scheduled promptly. (Scheduling was pushed back a day due to a backlog from other customers and this is to be expected following a storm in our area) Upon their arrival we noticed their attention to detail. The crew was focused on positioning their equipment to make traffic flow safely. We live on a busy street with a bend in the road near our property. We really appreciated how they cared for our community. Once that was taken care of, the crew began their inspection of Redd, our maple. We approved for equipment to come on our lawn to make the flow of their work more efficient. Once the project was over, our grass was fine and their detailed clean up was noted. I feel these people are truly proud of the work they do. We would highly recommend hiring them when in need of tree work. This project was a long one and the stump removal could not be accomplished in the same day. They returned Sunday to complete. Really nice work. Very caring. Very professional."

"We are extremely happy with the beautiful results of our landscaping project and customer service provided by C & L! From the ease of obtaining a bid consult, scheduling and most importantly the same day start-completion of our project even better than we imagined (kudos Pedro and team!) plus Tom, George and everyone we spoke with provided excellent customer service at all times. Prior to committing to C & L we requested a bid from another outfit, which was lower cost, but the project overview left us wondering what we’d really get and if the service would be as strong as C & Al’s reviews indicated plus our positive experience during bid process. We have zero regrets and in fact are thrilled to have gone with the higher $ bid given the quality of results, products used and aforementioned service excellence. Highly recommend C & L to anyone and fully expect that we’ll use them for any future projects. Thank you C & L!"

I highly recommend J & J to anyone looking for reliable junk and debris removal services. Thank you for a job well done!"

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
