"The entire staff at Elcon Electric is courteous, dependable, and professional. When we moved into a new home they hung kitchen and dining room lighting fixtures for us and installed LED high hat lights in the living room and the master bedroom. They were prompt, showing up exactly when they said they would, and the areas where they worked were spotless when they left. After Hurricane Irma we did not have electricity in parts of the kitchen, but did in other parts. They scheduled an appointment within days and took care of the problem. (It was a defective breaker.) This past week the electrician that has worked in our home after the hurricane, J.J., helped troubleshoot and solve an electrical problem we were having with some outdoor lighting. J.J. explained things to us in a manner that we could understand. We are totally pleased with Elcon's quality of the work, the capability and knowledge of the staff, and the fairness of the charges. They exceeded our expectations."

"Not a great experience but hired because they had immediate availability to do an assessment on a house I'm under contract for while another inspection took place. Takes very long to text back. Told me I would have assessment by 5pm and sent it at 9pm. When I asked him if the cost of the assessment rolls into the job if I hire him he said no and told me that's how other electricians trick you. I then asked if I could get an estimate on the repairs as it was his company that went out and he said no he needs his team to go back out. So he wants me to allow his team back out with nothing in terms of man hours needed/a quote. Multiple other electricians advised that 1- they included many unnecessary fixes and 2) don't understand Florida as certain appearances are standard with the weather and metals used. I will say he is a nice guy as he handled my anger with patience, however, my anger was warranted. Would not use again and would not recommend."

He mentioned that he treats the work he does in other peoples homes as if he were doing it in his own home.  Highly recommend him for any type of handy work needed around your home.

The lights look fantastic and Chris followed up to see if we were satisfied. A few days later we had some problems with older lights that Chris did not even install and he came by and resolved the issue without even taking any payment. "Whew! Thanks to Anthony and his stepson, we finally have our new microwave installed. I spoke with several other handymen, who were all stumped about how to deal with the light bar beneath our cabinets which stuck out so that you couldn't simply lift the old micro straight down, nor lift the new micro straight up in order to install it. These other handymen either bowed out of the project because they thought it would go badly, or they said they would saw off the edge of the light bar and then glue it back on after the install. Yikes! After also seeing the pictures that I sent him (which I'd sent the other prospective handymen, too), believed that he could simply remove the light bar in it's entirety and then put it back on after he installed the micro. Bingo! He also had to trim off some of the existing tile backsplash (because the new micro was a bit taller than the old one). After nearly 3 months, we finally had our new microwave installed, and our light bar (a piece of wood at the bottom of the cabinets) replaced without being damaged. Thank you, Anthony! A very small piece of the tile on the backsplash separated/broke during the trimming, but you can't see it much. We're still very happy just to have the micro in and with no damage to the light bar. It would have been nice if he'd mentioned that little problem with the tile, rather than having me notice it later. Still, all in all, a very good job and we are happy. He charged $150 for 2 hours (he and his stepson), which included replacing the microwave, fixing a loose towel bar, patching and spacking a hole underneath a light fixture, and some other small things. AND, he came out the very next day after I spoke with him to do these repairs - the Friday before Christmas! Definitely pleased."
