"It went great Craig, and his helper arrived on time and did a great job of cleaning a 40 year old never been cleaned fire place chimney. He cleaned up after himself and leaf the hearth clean also. Had lots of broken brockets that he was able to repair also. I recommend Craig for cleaning of chimneys."
"I had Mike out here to do a chimney sweep and inspection and he was amazing! He was very kind and had a lot of knowledge on chimneys. When the day came to do the repair he got here on time unlike most companies, and did an outstanding job with my chimney repairs. I couldn’t be more happy with Mike, the company, and the amazing chimney I know get to burn in safely!"
"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
"Randall and Aimee were great to work with, and their crew did an outstanding job on two fronts. I first had them replace and repair a roof for a small rental house that we own in Mobile. The tenant had complained of leaking during the heavy rains we had in May, 2014. They were prompt to respond to my request for a quote, and originally gave a time estimate of 10 days to two weeks to start, since the recent weather (and positive Angie's List recommendations) had given them plenty of recent business. A few days later, I got a call from Aimee, "pick a color - we're going to do your job tomorrow, and we're picking up materials today!" Since mine was a "small" job - the house is <800 sq. feet - they picked it up "between jobs". Their crew uncovered some major rot in the old roof, but repaired it better than new and finished the job early in the same afternoon! We were so impressed with the work, we had them give me a quote on our residence in Foley. The roof was overdue for replacement, and there was some rot in some of the fascia and eaves. They bid the roof and fascia repair for a very reasonable amount, and work began promptly within about 10 days - still under their "two week" estimate. They had stated that the job would take "about two and a half days", but by the end of the first day when I looked at the house with all of the fascia pulled off and the roof stripped, I though "no way are they going to get done on time!" I was wrong - they were done exactly as soon as Randall said they would be. The repairs were swift, complete, and fully up-to-code requirements for Baldwin County. Best of all, it looks FANTASTIC! Their crew was thorough, professional, courteous, and took care to inconvenience us as little as possible. THANK YOU, Randall and Aimee! It was a pleasure doing business with you. "

"The owner was kind enough to explain the entire repair process as giving guidance on how to do it. He followed up a day or two later to see how things was going. "
"Was quick to respond for an estimate and reasonable with his estimate for chimney sweeping. He was professional and took extra care to keep the soot contained. A and highly recommend. i will use every year now"
"Tadlock associates were very knowledgeable and helpful, everything they committed to happened exactly that way. The roofers were prompt, cleaned up all old roofing everyday, and completed the job timely and efficiently. It was a great experience dealing with Tadlock and I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement. Several neighbors have committed on the improved appearance of out home and how quick the entire process was completed. Our home has a large roof that required over 23 squares of shingles."
Learning how to fix water-damaged or swollen wood is possible, but it won’t always work if there is significant warping or structural damage that was caused by the water. Cosmetic issues such as nicks, bubbling and peeling can often be fixed by using an iron, sanding, or using wood filler.
This depends on the furniture. It’s certainly fine for wood, metal, or composite materials to get wet. The same cannot be said for affiliated cushions and coverings. Many of these adjacent items claim to be water-resistant, but poorly-made accessories take longer to dry, leaving plenty of time for mold to grow. Keep an eye on how your furniture stands up to rain before going in with a pressure washer.
Lamp repair typically takes 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the complexity of the repair and whether parts need to be ordered.
Fixing a drawer that is sticky, askew, or broken depends on the specific problem. Start by removing the drawer and examining the slides and tracks for any damage, bent parts, or loose hardware.
For minor issues:
Clean and Lubricate: If the slides are just sticky, clean them and the corresponding tracks with a hot, damp cloth. Then, apply a lubricant like silicone spray or bar soap to help them glide smoothly. Also, check any roller wheels for problems.
Tighten Screws: Tighten any loose screws on the slides and tracks. If screw holes are stripped, you may need to fill them and re-drill.
For more significant damage:
Bent Hardware: If a slide is bent, you may be able to remove it, straighten it out, and reinstall it.
Broken Parts: If a slide or track is broken or severely damaged, it will need to be replaced. Unscrew the damaged part and install a replacement that matches the type and size of the original.
After performing the repair, reinsert the drawer and test it to ensure it opens and closes smoothly, making any final adjustments for proper alignment. It can also be helpful to consult the manufacturer's guidelines for your specific drawer system.
Black stains appear on wood furniture when the surface comes in contact with water and metal for an extended time. It creates a chemical reaction that stains your wood black. Products that contain oxalic acid can remove these stains. Its bleach-like qualities can reverse the stains after a few rounds of application.
