"Kurt explained how he could fix the brick and ash tray. He explain he could also clean fireplace. He placed a protective blanket on the floor. He cleaned up the area afterwards and asked if we had any questions. He said we could start a fire now if wanted. He cured the mortar."

"Fast response within minutes. Arrived on site within a few hours. Very professional and helpful. This company took the time to explain how the new sprinkler system works and set up all the zones for us. Was installed within an hour. The price was very affordable as well. Would definitely recommend this company and will hire again in the future!"

They have this 3D feature on which they build the project for you so you can visualize how things are going to look. "Great job!!! Even with a few surprise issues with my existing landscape that came up, Tony and his crew were able find workaround solutions, so that everything could be completed on time and to my satisfaction. To be clear, they were only surprises due to a last minute change to the job plan we had agreed to and a misunderstanding on my part regarding some spa airlines. Specifically, they had to reroute the airlines for my spa so they were not in the way of my pool cage door or the paving stones which they also installed for me. A couple of sprinkler heads also had to be relocated to make room for the paving stones. Finally, they installed an underground drainage system to direct water away from my house and new sod that was being installed. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the job they did and Tony's patience with my last minute change of plans. I will definitely be hiring them again for any future landscaping needs."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

EIFS has several disadvantages, primarily related to cost and moisture. The system tends to have higher upfront installation costs compared to other siding options, and repairs can also be expensive, especially if water damage occurs. A significant downside is its low breathability, which can trap moisture between its layers from either leakage or condensation. This trapped moisture increases the risk of developing mold and rot, which can lead to costly and extensive repairs if not addressed promptly.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000, depending on fire alarms, sprinklers, and safety equipment.

No, but they both serve distinct life-saving purposes. Smoke detectors primarily sense the presence of smoke, typically caused by a fire, and emit loud alarms to alert occupants to evacuate. In contrast, carbon monoxide detectors monitor the levels of carbon monoxide gas, an odorless and colorless but deadly substance produced by incomplete combustion of fuels. When CO levels become dangerous, CO detectors sound alarms to warn inhabitants of potential poisoning risks.

You can relight a pilot light by yourself, but it’s not always the safest choice to do so. While the job is straightforward, a small mistake could end in a gas leak, fire, or explosion. That’s why we recommend everyone hire a pro for this job. Local furnace pros have lit dozens if not hundreds of pilot lights, and they’re well-versed and highly experienced in the proper safety protocols to keep you, your family, and your home safe while doing so.

Yes, it is generally safe to have a fire pit on a deck, but you must adhere to building codes and take several safety precautions. For both built-in and freestanding models, you must use a heat-resistant barrier, such as a fire pit pad or heat shield, between the pit and the deck. Additionally, consider the weight of the fire pit and ensure your deck can structurally support it, reinforcing it if necessary. The fire pit must also be positioned a safe distance from your house, particularly from materials like vinyl siding, to prevent heat damage.
