"I have done epoxy floors in previous homes as a DIY project. I know the work necessary in doing the job right. The team that came in and performed the installation was professional and communicated through out the project where he was and why there would be a delay (rain in Central Florida can be unpredictable)."

"I am extremely pleased with the epoxy garage floor. Family C was very professional, and efficient with installation and completed it in a day. They used a multi step process which includes a diamond cutting the floor first. The cost was reasonable, and the finished product says it all, family and friends are totally jealous. They such a great job my neighbors came over and asked for a quote. I am recommending FAMILY C to everyone that asks."

Customers say: Quick response

"When the owner said he was going to be there at a certain time, he was. Same goes for the crew. When the team leader had a question, she would ask. They started at 8:00 and finished painting all my outdoor stucco by 11:00 am. I would definitely recommend this company for painting projects."

"We hired T&H services Mainly to repaint and remodel our upcoming Nrw Born Baby's Nursery. However, as work started we realized other areas could use some sprucing up. We eventually painted the Garage, Basement and our Primary Bedrooms. We also had new Flooring and Cabinets installed. The crew was professional and on time and everything was done before our Baby girl arrived. I'd hire them for any Home Remodeling needs in the future. Bravo Guys!"

"I can’t recommend Above All Landscaping enough! Jennifer and her team completely transformed our property by removing our old driveway and installing a beautiful new concrete driveway. From the very beginning, Jennifer was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. She took the time to answer all of our questions, kept us updated throughout the entire project, and made sure every detail was done right. The quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. The new driveway is absolutely stunning, and it’s obvious that they take great pride in their work. The crew was punctual, respectful, and left the area spotless when they finished. If you’re looking for a company that delivers exceptional quality, honest service, and outstanding results, Above All Landscaping is the one to call. Jennifer truly goes above and beyond for her customers, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for concrete or landscaping work. Five stars all the way!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Yes, concrete driveways benefit from a driveway sealant. However, applying the wrong sealant to your concrete driveway can actually make it a safety hazard by turning the surface slippery if wet, so avoid epoxy or polyurethane sealers and go for an acrylic or a penetrating concrete sealer instead.

Apply two coats of paint to a garage floor after priming for optimal results. The first coat serves as a base layer, providing adhesion and coverage. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly before applying the second coat, typically after 12 to 24 hours. The second coat ensures even coverage and durability and enhances the floor's appearance. Additionally, applying two coats helps to create a more substantial barrier against stains, chemicals, and wear and tear, resulting in a longer-lasting finish.

Epoxy tends to be the most durable concrete finish, holding up on garage and shop floors for years. Epoxy seals the slab's surface, will run into any cracks and crevices, and can help to level the surface, so it tends to be a durable finish for most applications. The downside to epoxy is that it can be difficult to remove once applied.

Epoxy paint is a popular option for concrete due to its durability and stain resistance. You can also use masonry paint, which adheres well to concrete. Acrylic paints are more affordable but not as durable. Concrete stain is another option, which is more durable than paint and won’t peel over time.

You can seal a concrete slab by cleaning the surface, filling in any cracks, etching the surface, applying a sealer, and letting it dry. Concrete slabs don't typically need sealing, but you can use a topical concrete sealer if you notice signs of water damage. If you haven't already fixed the cause of the leak, then you'll want to repair the plumbing before you seal a concrete slab.
