"They did good, needed more stucco work than expected. had to pay extra for that but well worth it. the stucco person and painters were friendly, hard working. finished the job within time expected. painters came back and did some touchup painting. The managers were here twice to supervise the job. Lindsay was great."

"We turned our 2 hallway opening from a rectangular opening to a arched opening. Thos team was extremely professional. Put down paper to protect the floor and covered our furniture so no dust would get on them. The work was done with care and precision and couldn't have came out any better. "Excellent stucco work by Knoe, the primary stucco worker. Got to job and stayed till complete. Must wait about 2weeks to apply Sherwin Williams Loxon primer/sealer after stucco application.. Returned in 2 weeks and job completed. Stucco work is very messy so critical that plastic covering over all brick and masonry areas. This needs to be re-evaluated every morning and reapplied as needed. This was their only shortcoming, but they did return and were able to remove the spots. One of the nicest companies Iâ ve worked with, from laborers to salesman and even ownership. Thoroughly happy with job and was happy to pay when completed! Neil F South Tampa, Fl"

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.

Solid, unpainted stucco shouldn’t suffer damage from dots of glue used for this task. If the stucco is dirty, you may notice slight marks when you heat and peel the glue away, but these aren’t permanent.

Inexperienced DIYers can make several critical mistakes during stucco application, such as:

  • Failing to apply sufficiently thick layers for longevity and water resistance

  • Uneven application

  • Uneven texture across the exterior

  • Mixing the stucco improperly, leaving a weak structure

  • Failing to texture properly in between coats, leading to cracking and chipping
