"We had a large Playhouse built on our property. It was basically a small house insulation drywall siding shingle roof windows air-conditioning. Dave Farmer showed up on time with his helper. Took them an hour and a half to completely finish the job. The work was very organized. They hauled off all the debris. I watch them do most of the demolition. I was very impressed. They are very polite and the cost was reasonable. well worth the money. They also do home improvement just about anything. Thank you, Dave for a job well done. I will definitely use them again."

Hi! My name is Devon, I am 21 years old and a soon to be father. I work full time at a paper mill and I am looking to launch my own business taking care of the residents of northeast Florida who need all different kinds of services. I specialize in junk and waste removal, but offer services such as property cleanup and management as well as exterior pressure washing and certain demolition. I appreciate any future business opportunities given to me by the great community of this state. God bless America!

"Workers were on-time and professional. Price was verified in the beginning upon their arrival and I found out about the stair fee which I completely understand and most companies have ( and then there was communication with office staff to verify correct pricing with booking quote). I appreciated talking numbers and honesty before work began. I had stairs in both locations and very heavy and large furniture. Moved from the 3rd floor 2 bedroom apt. to a 2 bedroom townhouse with one flight of stairs. The guys wrapped my furniture and all my furniture made it through the move without damages. The guys were really hard workers too and didn’t complain about my super heavy furniture and all those tubs of books, which is very admirable! The only thing I would mark off on was on communication on the front end. When booking on the phone I was not told the extra price for stairs which I mentioned I had stairs in both locations ( I would just like to have known ahead of time at booking but it still was a really great hourly rate with the stair fee), which also meant there should have been an extra person on moving day with the amount of stuff to be moved and stair involvement ( so total price was more because it took all day instead of 4hr. quoted time and with only 2 men and all those stairs and heavy furniture) and I would have preferred a phone call the day before to verify movers would be coming and what time, I ended up calling them to confirm the day before since I booked several weeks out. I did get a phone call that morning telling me they were on their way and when they would be there, which they showed up at the time they said. If more details were ironed out in the beginning at booking there would be no constructive feedback. Overall they were professional, hard-working, did the job right and nothing got damaged and had a great hourly price compared to other companies in town so I would surely use them again."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

The cost of biohazard cleanup averages between $3,000 and $5,000 for most homeowners. Some services, like sanitizing high-traffic areas or sanitizing surfaces from a virus, cost closer to $1,500. However, other circumstances, like the extensive cleanup after a major sewer backup, could cost as much as $25,000

The best waste disposal method depends on the type of waste you have. If your waste is recyclable, recycling is the best option because it helps minimize the environmental impact. Organic waste is best composted or converted into fuel via biogas generation. For many items, landfill or incineration are the best options.

Concrete disposal costs between $0.50 and $2 per square foot of concrete in most cases, but the price can fall outside of that range depending on a few factors. Some of the most important cost factors include the following:

  • Amount of concrete you need hauled away

  • Distance from a proper dump site

  • Whether or not your old concrete can be recycled

  • Add-on services, like concrete demolition and site prep

  • Local dumping costs

When you move to a new area, check your new city's Department of Sanitation or local municipal website for more information. The site will clarify who picks up garbage in your area, how to arrange service, and your designated pickup day. You will also find instructions for purchasing the proper bins and bags for collection.

You can try reselling excess pavers online or offering them for free if someone wants to come take them. If you’re in a rush, you can look for a local recycling company to haul the pavers away. Another option is to reuse the excess pavers in another part of your yard. Depending on the size, pavers make good edging materials for garden beds or stepping stones for a simple paver walkway.
