"We are sorry that we did not know how to write a review for this contractor earlier. Its owner and his assistant installed additional cellulose insulation in the attic area (the floor) of our one story Condo unit. The results have been spectacular in reducing the loss of air conditioning into the attic area. Our thermostat is set at 78 degrees around the clock and the internal ceiling temperature is not higher than 79 degrees anywhere in the unit. I haven't checked to see if the company has changed it web site, which makes it appear that it is only in the pest control business. It is a terrific installer of insulation and we would reccommend it to any person needing that type of help."

"I cant say enough great things about Gladiator Wildlife Services.I had a rat in my house. I called on a Sunday and Rick came out the same day. The rat was gone that evening! Rick was courteous and professional. I received 2 other estimates from other companies, but Gladiators price was the most reasonable. I highly recommend them!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

You’ll want to call a licensed and insured wildlife removal company that offers:

  • Full property inspection—indoor and outdoor

  • Proper animal identification

  • Written management plan with follow-up visits included

  • Humane removal techniques

  • Preventative exclusion measures

If it’s an emergency and you can’t wait, you’ll need to contact an emergency animal control company near you.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.

Some of the plants listed above, like daffodils, are poisonous to many animals if eaten. But wild animals instinctively avoid them, for the most part. Household pets don’t always have the same survival instinct, which is why it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with common plants that pose a danger to cats and dogs.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.
