"We are sorry that we did not know how to write a review for this contractor earlier. Its owner and his assistant installed additional cellulose insulation in the attic area (the floor) of our one story Condo unit. The results have been spectacular in reducing the loss of air conditioning into the attic area. Our thermostat is set at 78 degrees around the clock and the internal ceiling temperature is not higher than 79 degrees anywhere in the unit. I haven't checked to see if the company has changed it web site, which makes it appear that it is only in the pest control business. It is a terrific installer of insulation and we would reccommend it to any person needing that type of help."

"I cant say enough great things about Gladiator Wildlife Services.I had a rat in my house. I called on a Sunday and Rick came out the same day. The rat was gone that evening! Rick was courteous and professional. I received 2 other estimates from other companies, but Gladiators price was the most reasonable. I highly recommend them!"

"I reached out to Solve Pest Pros in Orlando for a rodent issue, and I’m really glad I did. From the beginning, they were responsive and took my concerns seriously, which made a huge difference because dealing with rodents can be pretty stressful. The technician who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. They did a thorough inspection, explained where the activity was likely coming from, and walked me through the plan to address it. I really appreciated how detailed they were—it made me feel confident that the issue was being handled the right way. They didn’t just treat the problem—they also took the time to point out areas that could be vulnerable and gave helpful recommendations to prevent future issues. That extra level of care really stood out to me. Since the service, I’ve already noticed a big improvement, and I feel a lot more at ease in my home. Overall, the experience was smooth, professional, and very effective. I would definitely recommend Solve Pest Pros."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Hanging wind chimes or motion-activated speakers near your home may be an effective way to deter woodpeckers, as sudden movement and sound often scare birds away. You could also try using reflective decorative items such as pinwheels or mirrors or placing decoys of large predatory birds in your yard. If these measures don’t deter the woodpeckers, you may need the help of a bird removal pro.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

Set live traps or install a one-way door to evict squirrels, rodents, and other animals from your attic. Once they’re out, seal any entry points to prevent the animals from returning. If you’re dealing with an infestation, call a pro.
