"Clyde did a great job on my cracked stucco. Found underlying plywood had warped that had forced the crack. Kept me informed of steps he was taking to fix it, as I was @ work- complete with video! Recommend his company very highly."

Customers say: Quick response

"I struggled to find a company to finish my living condo ceilings with a stucco finish. After many, many calls and quotes, I found IM Stucco and I hired them. Their quote was competitive and they completed the project with perfection. They were excellent to work with, and very responsive to my calls. They demonstrated great scheduling flexibility and their prep work, the actual quality of the stucco applied, the finished look upon completion and their clean-up far exceeded my expectations. Kervin and his father are outstanding to work with and I would hire them again immediately. FIVE STARTS WITHOUT HESITATION! Tom Kartheiser Winter Park, FL"

"I am so pleased with the work Mack did. I anticipated costly stucco repairs/installation to my home, living in an almost 30 year old home for the past 17 years with no exterior maintenance. But Mack assured me the repairs were minimal, easy, and inexpensive. He also painted the house and I couldnâ t be happier with the results! The neighbors like it too. Mack also installed a new mailbox for us. And repaired our screen door (a bad DIY installation) at no charge. Heâ s professional and friendly, keeps up communication, is always available for questions or concerns, on time, and efficient. I truly didnâ t expect my house to be painted so quickly but it was completed in a couple of days. Love the work and my experience with M & P. I will definitely call Mack for future projects!"

"Did a wonderful Job. Also pointed out things that I had not seen. We were getting this home ready to sell and Martin had firsthand experience in what the inspectors would be looking for. Impeccably honest and trustworthy!"

Stucco questions, answered by experts

The curing time for stucco typically takes several weeks to fully complete. During the curing process, the stucco undergoes a chemical reaction and gradually hardens. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco.

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.

Well-maintained trim boosts aesthetic appeal and prevents costly future repairs.

Properly installed and maintained stucco can last 50 to 100 years, making it one of the longest-lasting siding materials available. This durable material is known for its durability, and as long as you clean and waterproof it regularly and promptly repair any damage, it’ll protect your home for decades to come.

Cracks in the chimney can be very serious, depending on their location and size. Even small cracks can become serious over time if left unrepaired. Cracks allow heat and moisture to deteriorate your chimney and harmful carbon monoxide gas to seep into your home. Small cracks can often be caulked, while large cracked sections may require full replacement.

The best way to assess that your stucco needs repair is to inspect it, both visually and physically. If you notice cracks, chips, or staining, that’s a good indication that your stucco could use some TLC by a professional. Additionally, if you touch an area that feels soft and has a little “give,” you should consider repairing it as soon as possible to avoid further damage, both to additional stucco spots and to your home’s structure.
