"I had them come in and clean our house at the last minute because of some very special last minute house guest (and I just didn’t feel like doing it). They were awesome! They were on time and went above and beyond what I asked them to do. I asked them to focus on a couple of areas (obviously the guest room and guest bath) as well as the common areas and they not only did what I asked, but the house smelled good too (random - but a definite plus!). Overall I was happy with their service, will definitely use them again and I’ve already told my best friend about them!"

"I recently hired Chole for a deep clean of my home, and I couldn?t be more impressed with the results. From the start, it was clear that they take great pride in their work. Every corner of my house was thoroughly cleaned, with special attention to details that I didn?t even think to ask for. She was incredibly diligent and made sure that all of my specific cleaning needs were met. It?s rare to find someone so reliable and eager to deliver high-quality service. I?ve now made her my regular cleaner, and I?m always confident that my home is in great hands. Highly recommended!"

"I called this company to get a quote for carpet cleaning.  I got a voicemail but didn't leave a mesage.  A short while later I got a call back.  She was very nice and offered a price for carpet cleaning, which was very reasonable.  I had explained this was a vacant house we just closed on that my mom had bought and would be moving into.  She asked if it needed any cleaning (I had figured I would need to do that for mom so it didn't occur to ME to ask about it!)  I told her it DID need cleaning but I would be doing it.  She offered to come take a look and she'd give me a good price.  We met at the house later that afternoon (yesterday) and she gave me a very good price, so I agreed to it.  Her and her husband came back today to do the work, was on time, very professional, incredibly sweet people, and they did an OUTSTANDING job!  Very impressive!  (I am VERY anal retentive and my idea of clean is REALLY VERY CLEAN.  I was very pleased!)  In fact, I even gave them an additional $40 over the agreed price because I really felt that they earned it.  I would absolutely hands down use or refer them anytime for any of the services they perform.
I am so glad SHE called ME back when I didn't even leave a message!"

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

You should plan to change your AC unit's filter every one to three months, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations. You should also clean the coils at least once per year, but if you have pets or someone in your household has allergies, you might need to clean them more often. Fortunately, many pros will clean the coils and change the filter for you during an inspection, which you should schedule once or twice per year.

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.

But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.

Sometimes, you can clean an HVAC filter rather than replace it. If you have a washable filter, also known as a permanent or semi-permanent HVAC filter, wash the filter once per month. However, if you have filters that are not labeled as washable, do not attempt to clean them and reuse them. Many HVAC filters are disposable, and you’ll need to buy a whole new filter to replace dirty disposable filters.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.

If you don't regularly change your HVAC air filter, it will become clogged with dust, dirt, and other contaminants. This blockage forces the system to work harder to circulate air, leading to several negative consequences. You may experience higher energy bills, poor temperature regulation, reduced air quality, and slower system performance. Over time, this added strain can cause parts to break more frequently, lead to system failure, and ultimately shorten the lifespan of your entire HVAC unit. In some cases, it can also contribute to health problems. It's recommended to change the filter at least every three months.
