"I have been lied to, cheated and there has been a breach of contract. I contacted this company about a mole problem in my yard and they advertise they take care of them.. A representative came out and I told him that I had been trying various baits with no luck. He told me that the baits they use were stronger and required a license to purchase. I asked about traps and he said they would try the baits first and use traps if not successful. I paid them $349 and my contract States "Client previously used poison baits"; "Set traps for 7-10 days to remove the current population"; "Seal all entry points to prevent further population and Treat yard to deter animals from property. They did spray the property perimeter with something they said was the deterrent. Other than that, they only put poison baits down. The majority of treatments were Tom Cat pellets, one of the ones I had used and available to the public. I suspect the poison worms they used once were also Tom Cat also available to the public. There was minimal improvement. I would call and someone would come out and put more pellets down. They never Set any traps. After about 10 days I would call and be told it would be forwarded to a tech but nobody came. I finally found out that the Operations Manager, Ryan, had closed my case after 10 days and they had come out enough times. I argued with customer service and requested to speak to Ryan. He never called me back but approved sending out a tech to put more Tom Cat pellets down. As usual there was no improvement and I called again and was told Ryan had closed my case again. I asked them to live up to the contract and set traps or at least give me one half of my money back. I was told no. I asked if I could speak to Ryan and was told he would be given a note to call me. I never heard anything. I called customer service and asked if I was wasting my time calling and if there was nothing more they intended doing and they said yes."

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Honey bees are most likely to swarm during spring and early summer, typically from April through June, as colonies expand and prepare for new growth. Swarming occurs when a hive becomes overcrowded, prompting the queen and a group of worker bees to leave in search of a new nesting site. During this time, you may notice a temporary increase in bee activity around your property.

In many places, killing bees or destroying a hive is discouraged or regulated due to their crucial role as pollinators. Specific laws vary by region, and certain bee species are protected due to declining populations. Some states require permits or restrict who can remove or exterminate bee colonies. Always check local laws before attempting to manage or remove a beehive.

If you’re dealing with a bee colony on your property, you might wonder if they’ll leave naturally over time. The answer depends on their circumstances. Bees often relocate if the hive becomes overcrowded, food is scarce, or they face a threat. With that said, if a hive’s location is safe, warm, and with plentiful food sources, they are unlikely to relocate on their own, and the hive may persist for many generations.

You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.

Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.

Bees usually have thicker, fuzzy bodies, while wasps have slender, smooth bodies. Behavior and nesting also differ.
