I have been satisfying customers for over 10 years. I started working with my father when I was big enough to swing a hammer, and he helped my grandfather remodel homes in Michigan since he was a boy himself! Experience is not an issue. I decided to take the family skills to the next level and start my own business! I make it a point to try and save people money where ever I can without sacrificing workmanship! I strive to make a good reputation and want to continue to please every customer. Most of my clients treat me like family!

"Purchased a HVAC unit in 2019, unit cost us almost $9000, one key factor was a 20 year warranty parts and labor. Everything went fine for 4 years until we needed the warranty due to a leak in the air handler coil, by the way the refrigerant replacement cost was $400. We contacted this company but never got a response either vis phone or email and this went on for three days. Spoke with office representatives who told me to contact the manufacturer. I did so but found out I didn’t have the ten year warranty nor did I have any labor cost coverage. I did have a 5 year parts on warranty. I’m sure you can now understand my frustration at this point. I would give them a zero star if I could. Buyer be ware you may not get what you think you buy."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Buying a house with vermiculite insulation is not recommended without going through a proper testing process. Vermiculite insulation can potentially contain asbestos, which poses health risks when disturbed. While it is possible to purchase a home with vermiculite insulation, you should have it tested for asbestos, and ensure proper containment if asbestos is present. If asbestos is present, you will want to hire a professional to remove it, ideally before you move in.

When installing metal siding, a high-quality house wrap is considered the best protection against condensation and moisture infiltration. House wraps can increase a home's efficiency significantly. However, a house wrap is not a replacement for a vapor barrier because it can be permeable when moist air passes through siding. This is why it's essential to follow manufacturer instructions for insulating siding when installing new siding.

Yes, basement insulation needs a vapor barrier due to its susceptibility to moisture seeping in from the outside of the house. You should install a moisture barrier before you install insulation or purchase insulation that comes prebuilt with a moisture barrier to avoid water damage in your insulation and costly mold and water remediation expenses.

Whether you should remove old insulation before blowing in new insulation depends on your particular situation. Fiberglass insulation attracts insects and mold over time, so if it has been decades since your last insulation upgrade, consider removing the old materials before placing the new ones. However, most types resist mold, insects, and mildew, so once you get the go-ahead from your contractor that your space is free from all three, feel free to install the new insulation directly on top of the pre-existing materials.

Durable materials suited for climate include aluminum for coastal areas or composite wood in varying environments for durability and minimal upkeep.
