"Craig was wonderful, very informative, prompt and helpful. I was so happy to have found Hurricane Shutter Maintenance. Can not thank him enough for repairing our shutter. I highly recommend to anyone having an issue!"

"They installed accordion type hurricane shutters on our windows were fast and efficient the proof of the pudding will be when the hurricane comes then we'll know how good the product really is"

"I made the decision to get shutters after the new year so there would be plenty of time for ordering and installation. I went online with HomeaAdvisor and chose Shade Solutions by JK Studio. Jeff came out the next day to help me determine the most cost effective and easiest shutters to use for my home. It took exactly 19 days for the Accordion shutters to be installed. They are the Bertha shutters and provide protection against Category 5 hurricane winds and are approved by both Dade County and the Florida Building Code."

"They built my hurricane shutters from scratch and they did a great job. They are powder coated and made from aluminum. The shutters have been through a couple of hurricanes and did a great job and still look good too."

"Great! He upgraded my equipment and also upgraded my double garage door with hurricane reinforcements. All of this work was done quickly. Justin was on time and was very patient and explained everything (sometimes 2 or 3 times!) so I understood what he would be doing. My door is so quiet when it opens and closes now and I have 2 remotes (didn't have before), and also a new wall door opener. Parts are new and I have a 30-year warranty which will be an asset when I decide to sell my home. I feel so much safer now. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with the service."

"David did an excellent job in putting up the shutters. It was a very well done job and David really seems to know his business. We would use him again in the future and recommend him to others."

"Had already gotten some other estimates from other companies, but upon asking further questions, they disappeared. Solarshield came out when they said, gave an estimate and estimated time to start which was just about when I had wanted to have it done - before hurricane season. Frank the owner was out there too, he and the crew answered all my questions. These guys pay attention to details too. They put tarps all around the house to catch as much of the roof debris as possible. My fascia board was rather discolored, so they even cleaned that while the drip edge was off the roof. Also another detail, when they finished the roof, they got matching paint to paint the new j-vent for the stove vent, the sewer gas vents, and the metal chimney. It took about 5 days (all together) to redo my roof. This was a complete strip down, wind mitigation rehab, with the new standing seam covered screw metal roof with one valley, five hips and two ridge vents. There was only one very small leak at the chimney, when I called, Frank came out to fix it. After that, we had 3 tropical systems come calling (one with 6" of rain!) and not a leak to be seen. Solarshield supplied pictures and documents of the wind mit items (duplicates) for insurance and with my next renewal, my insurance premium went down by at least 30% just due to the new roof! If you are on the fence about getting a metal roof, do it if you can manage the slight extra cost. I believe that in the next few years, benefits from reduced insurance, reduced electric bills, eventual set up of solar on the roof without having to reroof again any time soon afterwards, and peace of mind will pay off greatly. I won't have to worry about the roof during my retirement!"

"Haquer Wiltshire is a very nice and hard working Gentleman. He put up Hurricane Panels and a roll down door over our 12ft wide sliding doors. A gentleman named Chris set up the Roll down doors with Electricity and Crank. The price is reasonable and they are easy to get in contact with. Nice Folks."

"Excellent, very very happy, will use again whenever they are needed. Please hire this company to do your home inspections b/c they go above and beyond. The report was extensive and the pictures that came with the report were outstanding. Keep up the great work!
Oh 2 days later he came back to our home to go thru the report to make sure we understand everything, can you believe that? Awesome Awesome Awesome How many service providers do that? I would say close to Zero.
Thanks Freddie for your excellent work we really appreciate it."
