"Leak was found and plugged in light fixture (broken conduit, most likely). Arnold was very professional and thorough, kept checking all possible problems even after he found the leak, and let us know the rest of our pool plumbing was in good shape. Gave us advice to keep an eye on possible problems. Charge was a little higher because we have a combination inground spa with our pool, meaning more plumbing to check. Very happy with results."

"I looked all over Angie's List and Houzz trying to find the right landscape company to do the job. This is difficult work in itself and most companies never called back, never came out, or never responded to my many calls and emails. It is amazing how hard it is to give a company your money for their services. Greg on the other hand was excellent. I received a call back right away, made an appointment, and he arrived on time. He knew exactly what we wanted based on my description and pictures and got right to work. Two days later I received a very professional looking proposal with every detail. It included much more value for the money compared to other bids I received for example irrigation, rubber mulch, and weed tarp. I then needed a bunch of paperwork for the HOA which they sent all over in a matter of days. Once approved I scheduled an install date without issue. Installation date everything went great! Everyone I met from the team was extremely professional and knowledgeable and they did a great job turning our landscaping around. They completed all of the work in about 5 hours, plus the next day an extra hour. Everything was left clean and tidy. I have already received many compliments from neighbors and it has only been a day that it was installed. Overall A+ work from Greg, Alex, Kelly, and the rest of team."

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

Septic tank odors can happen because of a few different issues with your septic system, such as a full tank, clogged drains, or blocked venting systems. Not only is a smelly septic tank pretty unpleasant, but it can also pose a potential hazard to yourself and your home. Toxic fumes could be hanging around, or untreated wastewater could be harming the environment.

Some of the biggest symptoms of a drain field failure include a foul stench, backed-up toilets and drains, and mushy grass or standing water on top of the drain field. Also, if the grass above your leach field starts suddenly growing faster and looks thicker or healthier than the rest of your lawn, it could be a sign that it isn’t getting rid of waste properly.

A few signs can indicate that your cesspool needs to be emptied outside of its typical schedule. An unpleasant odor coming from your pipes or near the cesspool, gurgling noises in your pipes, and uncharacteristically good growth in your yard are signs of cesspool problems that suggest build-up or overflow. If your pipes back up, you should have your cesspool looked at right away.

Pumping involves opening the tank lid, removing solids and wastewater, and inspecting components for wear or damage to maintain optimal function.

The easiest thing you can do to prolong the life of your septic system is to adopt septic-safe practices. This includes not flushing non-biodegradable items, chemicals, or excessive grease down drains and scheduling regular septic tank pumping to prevent buildup. It’s also important to fix plumbing leaks promptly and to practice water conservation to avoid overloading the system. To maintain your drain field, avoid heavy vehicle traffic and plant shallow-rooted vegetation in the area. Most importantly, invest in routine inspections and maintenance to detect and address issues early.
