"Went well, however, I called them back twice to get a quote on doing the whole house with the new recessed lights. Both time I was told I would get a call back. Never got a call back. Unfortunately I had to give them lower grade on responsiveness.

"Susan came out to evaluate the install of a Electric Vehicle charger in a detached garage. My situation got a little complicated due to my home wiring, and Susan did a great job with all of my questions and eased my concerns by sending Eddie to look things over for a subsequent evaluation. We worked on a schedule that was agreeable to both of us and Eddie installed the outlet and recommended additions (heat detector, surge protector) on time and at a significantly lower cost than competitors. I'm so glad to have worked with Eddie and Susan!"

"The Electrician, Jeremy, did a great job installing our level 2 EV charger. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the installation and completed the work in an efficient and professional manner. Would highly recommend for other electrical jobs."

"I purchased the light system @ Lowe's. Don came and made the cement pad one day. He returned another day to install the light. I had to leave when he put in the light. When he removed the light from the box, he found that one of the three lights was broken. He went to Lowe's, exchanged the light, and then installed the new one. WOW!!! What great service, he really went above and beyond to be sure that the job was to perfection! I was extremely pleased with his attention to every detail of the job!"

"

I am very satisfied with their work.  First, they responded immediately to my request for information.  Lucio came out as promised, on time, and gave me an estimate last week and worked around my schedule to do the installation and repairs.  They came today, on time.  I have had 2 rooms that the electrical was not working right and have had 2 other electricians out in the past and they never actually resolved the issue.  Today, Lucio and his coworker repaired the issue!

They also installed 6 recessed lights in my living room and recessed lights in my bedroom it looks very nice and works great!  They were careful to cover the furniture in the rooms when drilling in the ceiling, they came prepared with their equipment and were extremely respectful and professional.

I have found that following through and showing up and being on time are rare commodities here in SW Florida, and in the past I have been frustrated with other contractors who aren't reliable.  So I was very pleased that they were so dependable.

I would highly recommend Lucio and Bright Electric because they held to their end of the deal on everything.

"First , very professional. Second the work was outstanding , was really impressed how much they paid attention to detail. What was most important is that how it was designed and came out exactly how I imagined. They were able to work around the pre-existing infrastructure and soffits did a great job installing the high hats with the right dimmers. Definitely would hire them again! The bonus no hidden charges said what it would cost explained how the costs can increase with unforeseen conditions which is understandable and the price point for the work excellent!!!!!!"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

There are four main types of lighting used in homes: ambient, task, accent, and decorative. Within these categories, there are a number of fixtures to choose from including ceiling-mounted lights, floor lamps, under-cabinet lights, track lighting, and more.

Choosing the fixture that’s right for you depends on your home design and the area you’re looking to illuminate.

Security lights perform the best when placed in entry points like garages, front doors, porches, and backdoors. Landscaping lighting like pathway lamps will also make it more difficult to conceal themselves on their way to your home, increasing the likelihood that you or a neighbor will spot them before they arrive.

When it comes to installing recessed lights in your kitchen, place them over areas where you perform specific tasks. This includes over the countertops, sink, and dishwasher to provide illumination when you’re working in these areas. Make sure to space them 12 inches apart from each other and up to 18 inches away from the cabinets.

Whether it's a style overhaul, a home revamp, or a change of scenery, removing a chandelier often comes with challenges. The complexity lies in the tricky installation of these fixtures. Delicate crystals, intricate frames, and the elevated placement of chandeliers make this removal one that requires finesse. Striking the right balance between aesthetics and practicality and ensuring electrical safety during the process adds difficulty to an otherwise straightforward task.

LED lights last much longer than conventional incandescent light bulbs. Most manufacturers estimate that LED bulbs can last between 10 and 15 years, but they more often last between four and seven years with regular use. Other factors, such as heat exposure and surging electrical currents, can cause an LED bulb to burn out prematurely.
