"Getting work done on an island can be very concerning. It can be costly and even more so difficult to even find help because you have to have a means of not only getting out to the home on an island but getting the materials out there can be a battle. Jason and his workers took care of everything and even though we haven't physically been able to get over there ourselves, we have seen plenty of photos that they took and provided to us, but we have other's who are out there that relayed what a good job they did. There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.

Clean with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid harsh chemicals, and periodically check seals to prevent water infiltration.

If your Corian® countertop begins to appear dull or dirty, or you notice scratches on the surface, you can return it to its original finish while maintaining its look. To do this, repair any scratches with a repair compound and sand the surface after it dries. 

Then, use an orbital sander with either a 100-, 30-, or 15-micron disc and finish with a hand pad (like Scotch-Brite™ 7447 or 7448) or lamb’s wool bonnet and automotive cutting compound for a matte, semi-gloss, or gloss-finish, respectively.

To maintain a walk-in tub, clean it regularly with non-abrasive cleaners. Periodically inspect the seals, jets, and faucets to ensure they remain functional and in good condition.
