"Getting work done on an island can be very concerning. It can be costly and even more so difficult to even find help because you have to have a means of not only getting out to the home on an island but getting the materials out there can be a battle. Jason and his workers took care of everything and even though we haven't physically been able to get over there ourselves, we have seen plenty of photos that they took and provided to us, but we have other's who are out there that relayed what a good job they did. Bathtub refinishing costs an average of $460 and includes removing the finish, sanding or acid etching the surface, priming it, and applying an epoxy coating. Because bathtub refinishing requires hazardous chemicals, you should call a bathtub refinisher to do the job.

It is best to wear a respirator during the sanding, painting, and sealing process. It can filter particles, vapors, and fumes that can be toxic to breathe. So it’s better to be safe and protect your lungs during this project.

If you don’t caulk your bathtub, then there won’t be a watertight seal between your bathtub and the wall tile surrounding it.
