  Dwight from Cornerstone Construction is the REAL deal! I am probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to contractors. I have never liked a single one, but Dwight is absolutely wonderful. They have remodeled our entire kitchen (removed our whole old kitchen and replaced it with a brand new kitchen including appliances, exhaust, backsplash, etc) - it looks perfect, which I NEVER say. I have no conflict of interest....I am tired of contractors who don't do a good job so when I found Dwight, I was ecstatic. His prices were competitive. From 3D rendering to installation and answering back and forth emails, he did extremely well at communicating with me in a timely manner. The kitchen turned out great.   The job is incomplete. It was scheduled to be completed in one day. The office called the morning of the job and said their were vehicle issues and they would be delayed. When they arrived an hour late I was told the guy who was supposed to do the tile and caulking work was not coming and I would have to reschedule. they tried to collect for the entire job but I did give them a check for work performed. They told me their technician would be there the next day. I canceled my day to stay home again. At 9:00 AM the next day I got a call that the technician had a migraine and was not coming. I cancelled payment on the check because my invoice says Payment will be made upon completion. The owner called and gave me an ultimatum to refund the partial payment AND they will be there Friday to complete the work if I do so. This after I told him my only availability this week was Thursday morning. This after I sat home two days for him. Even tried to blame it on COVID. I have a contract that calls for completion of work for payment, not partial payments in stages. Window is closing to complete this work
