The ladies at the office Rose and Erika were right, he made me feel so good; even after the estimate. And when we finally got to the part of doing the work; Darren the pluming specialist was amazing!! Fast, polite, clean and neat! "Eduardo and his crews were prompt and professional and left the finished pavers and landscaping looking like they had never disturbed anything. Great cleanup afterwards. Eduardo reduced the number of heads improperly installed by another company and installed more efficient sprinkler heads which provided more water pressure and broader coverage with less heads. I was impressed with Eduardo’s knowledge of landscaping and the individual needs of each plant with regards to watering and care. In short, he is an honest individual who doesn’t try to oversell you and provides an effective fairly priced product. I wholeheartedly recommend Eduardo and Florida Keys Irrigation."

"Gavin Gordon was the inspector. He identified the problem areas and spent time explaining all the details of the job. Dylan and the rest of the crew did a great install and the Miami office was a great experience. Very professional all around. Would definitely recommend this company."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Inspect regularly for clogs, clean drain lines, and ensure grading directs water away from the foundation.

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

This depends on the location of the blockage. If the blockage is in your home’s system, anywhere in the system, it is your responsibility as a homeowner. Blockages seldom happen because of items or buildup coming from the city, which means it originates in the home. It becomes the city’s responsibility at the exact point your home’s line distributes waste into the city’s system. The exception is if the problem in your home damages the city lines.

Yes, frozen pipes can prevent a toilet from working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which means your toilet tank won't be able to refill after a flush. This will prevent the toilet from flushing again. Depending on which lines are frozen, the ice can also block the drain pipe, preventing water from flushing away.

As a temporary workaround, you can manually add water to the tank for each flush. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try filling the toilet bowl or tank with warm water and flushing to help thaw the ice. However, the best long-term solution is to unfreeze the pipes to get your toilet back in working order.

If you try a drain snake and various DIY methods for unclogging drains to no avail, bring in a professional plumber to assess the situation. Also, if multiple drains in your home are backing up or you smell sewage, a visit from a plumber is best. You can expect your drain cleaning costs to fall around $250, and this can include an assessment of what’s caught in your plumbing and if there’s a larger, underlying problem. You should also consider calling a pro if you need to snake a toilet, as DIYing this could lead to a cracked fixture.
