"Shawn was very professional and knowledgeable with his suggestions and estimating. His crew was prompt, efficient, careful and finished in less than the estimated time. They were smiling and happy to do whatever was needed. They cleaned up everything before leaving and asked if there was anything else I needed. Shawn returned to check on their work. Another crew came with Shawn a second day and sealed the pavers on the driveway and patio, so we wouldn't have weeds growing. I also met Cody, the owner, who checked to see if all went well. I couldn't be happier with the result."

"We recently had work done by Asher Outdoors Landscaping. They removed the old sod and installed new sod for a beautiful new healthy look and provided and planted 2 new gorgeous Robellini in our front yard. Their team was client focused and very experienced. From the first callback, to meeting with Gary Asher, we knew when and what to expect. Great service from everyone on his staff. It's a 5 star rating from us .....!!!"

Small jobs welcome

"We noticed our grass was dying and realized the irrigation system pump and timer were not working. After posting the project on Angi on Monday 4/27/26, Spiros responded very quickly and said he could come over the next day and take a look. He quickly confirmed that both pump and timer were dead. He emailed me an estimate that evening and I agreed to proceed. The quickest they could get to me was the upcoming Sunday. However, Spiros had a cancellation for Wednesday 4/29/26 so he and his brother Costa were able to remove and replace the old timer and pump with brand new hardware. Unfortunately, it was late in the day and a final piece to complete the job did not fit and the store was closed. Spiros said he'd buy the last part and come over and complete the project. He tested all six zones and freed up many pop-up heads stuck beneath our St. Augustine grass. We're thrilled with the service we got from Spiros and wholeheartedly can recommend Rehab Junkies for your irrigation needs"

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

You should add 1 to 4 inches of mulch, depending on your garden type and needs. Keep in mind that no amount of mulch can completely prevent weeds, but a heavier coverage (closer to 4 inches) can suppress weeds enough that you are only seeing them sprout every few weeks. Finer mulch prevents weeds more effectively than large mulch, so if you’re using mulched leaves or shredded bark, 1 to 2 inches will likely suffice, while 3 to 4 inches is best for larger mulch, like bark chips or straw.

Water the lawn thoroughly, apply fertilizer, and overseed if necessary to promote healthy growth.

Technically, dandelions aren’t bad for your lawn, and they don’t directly kill grass. In fact, they appear in areas that are nutrient-deprived, and their long taproots can loosen the soil and bring nutrients closer to the surface.

However, dandelions do spread quickly, and they can take over your lawn, eventually crowding out grass. This is why a healthy lawn is the best defense against dandelions.

They compete for nutrients and water, potentially stunting desired plants.

Mowing your grass regularly, especially if you’re mowing close to the ground, can help kill Johnsongrass. Frequent mowing helps limit the spread of Johnsongrass and can even deplete carbohydrate reserves in rhizomes over time. The more time you leave in between mowing, the more likely Johnsongrass is to regrow and take over your lawn.
