"I just started with this company. I cannot at this time comment on their work. Tech was very friendly. Listened to my lawn problems and explained what would be done to get my lawn to look better."

"I spoke to several companies before choosing Overwatch. They were the most responsive and very professional. Overwatch was extremely thorough in their work and approach. Not only did they address the issue I needed, they did a 360 check of our home to make sure there were no new breaches in our eaves we had not detected. Their inspection identified a significant second breach we had not seen. They monitored the breach over the weekend to ensure it was not active. They promptly returned Monday morning reporting no activity. I gladly hired them to repair the breached eave. Their work was excellent. If we have any future pest related needs, Overwatch will be our first call! We highly recommend their fine work."

"Hired as process seemed the way to go. Cost was high but told if the bug system removal was handled properly and if I. Saw within a certain amount of time they would come out again for no charge."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Bed bugs bite your body to feed on blood. When they bite, they inject an anticoagulant, which is why you may see blood stains on your sheets if you have an infestation. The bed bugs tend to bite in clusters, so the bite marks will look like itchy, red spots in zigzagging lines of three to five bites per cluster on your skin.

The bites are itchy, but for most people, they do not cause serious or long-term health complications. Itching the wound excessively could lead to an infection, and some people are allergic to bed bugs.

Yes, mulch can attract pests. Spiders, centipedes, and ants are some common pests that are attracted to mulch. You can avoid infestation by laying your bags of mulch in the heat for a few hours or by using an inorganic mulch, as it’s less attractive to pests.

The cockroach most easily confused with water bugs is the Oriental cockroach, for several reasons. Their shape is most similar to a water bug, and they’re notorious for seeking out and living near water. If you capture one of these bugs close to a water supply, you can quickly tell if it’s an Oriental roach or a water bug. These roaches are a darker color, and they cannot fly, while water bugs are a lighter brown and can fly to escape.

No; ticks rarely infest buildings. They prefer to stay outdoors waiting for a potential host to pass by. However, while ticks do not infest beds, they can get indoors by attaching themselves to pets, clothing, or outdoor gear. A live tick may survive in your bed for around 24 hours, but it certainly won’t breed or start an infestation.

Common signs of a flea infestation include pets scratching or grooming excessively, itching and irritation affecting both pets and people, and visible flea bites or red spots on the skin. You might also see live fleas on your pets or find dark specks in their fur, known as 'flea dirt,' which is flea feces.
