South Florida Screen has been in business since 1988. We are family owned and operated. All of our employees only work for us. (no sub contractors). We have the real professional contractors license that allows us to do all possible work in the aluminum and screen enclosure industry. Please be aware of the screen and aluminum contractors that simply have a $30.00 occupational license. Many of them are listed here on Angie's list. Our license allows us to build screen enclosures as well as repair them and all facets of the aluminum industry. Anyone is able to obtain an occupational license, however that is not the proper license to perform screen work and aluminum products. Our license number in Broward is: CC-16-AL-20399-X. In Miami-Dade: 15BS00492. Statewide: CGC1509420. Please make sure that the company you hire has a proper trade license. We go to school to obtain these licenses. "Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

"Went very well. Larry showed up at 8:30AM as scheduled . Doors were very old, both screws and rollers on doors were odd size. Larry left and returned within an hour with the correct parts. He and his co-worker cleaned the slider rails and replaced the rollers. Doors now slide good as new."
