"Julio did a great job and we really like how our shower conversion turned out. He did quality work throughout the project from the beginning to end. Installed a custom shower pan where our tub once was added new board and did all tile work as well as installing grab bars and a bench. He kept us informed with updates on the project as he went. Julio particularly has a passion for getting all the details right. We would definitely use him again."

"From the day of my estimate until project completion Ricky was a pleasure to work with! He and I spoke several times prior to the install and the project was completed on time and exactly what he quoted. Respectful and left everything neat and tidy too. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend him!"

"David has done several jobs for me Including landscaping, deck repair and painting and correction of an incorrectly installed outside french door threshold that the original installers ( a door store) had unsuccessfully attempted to correct multiple times. David solved the problem. He is a good communicator and is very reliable and conscientious."

"If there were six stars to choose from, that would be the rating I would give for the service provided. They were efficient, on time, and had a very professional and friendly personality, doing an amazing job repairing my ceiling. I will be using them for future handyman projects!"

"Koster construction’s men were hardworking and diligent in getting the job done. Ryan Koster outlined what they would do and gave us a fair price (not a price based on zip code). He oversaw the project from start to finish, checking in to see how things were progressing. We are pleased with the outcome and are happy to recommend him/them."

"Carolyn came out & went over all the options with me. She had sample fabrics swatches to help with the selection. She measured everything carefully & gave me a close estimate of when the blinds & drapes would be completed. The installer did an excellent job. He was so thorough, meticulous & conscientious--you would think he was installing them in his own home. Everything was perfect except for one of the roman shades that didn't drape correctly. Carolyn ordered a replacement, but they were in the midst of moving to a new office so when it came in, they failed to follow up on replacing it until I called after a couple of months to see what was going on with it. The installer brought it out the next day and apologized profusely for the oversight. Other than that, it was a very positive experience and I am very pleased with the results."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
