"Expensive and only half solved half of my problem. Had two leaks, one in bathroom and one in kitchen. Repaired drain leak in bathroom, for $350, but I passed on $150 reconnection effort (A job I completed in 15 minutes). Provided good referral for kitchen leak repair. Repairman very personable and competent"

"Excellent service! The tech was knowable and customer satisfaction was his priority. All my questions were answered and the products he installed more than addressed my needs. I have recommended them to our neighbor and they are buying a unit also."

"Antonio did a great job right from the start. I put my request into Angie's list, and he called literally 2 minutes later. He came out to my place that day and was very professional but friendly at the same time. The bid he gave was very fair considering the work that was going to be done. He got everything done in a reasonable amount of time. Had a few hiccups, but it was nothing that was his fault or his crews, it was just circumstances. They worked around those and got everything done. When I am ready for the next faze of my yard, I will be talking to him again."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

The benefits of a storm door include providing extra protection against severe weather, improving your home's insulation, and helping to keep pests out. They also add an extra layer of security to your entry door and can enhance your home's curb appeal.

The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.

While sometimes used interchangeably, screen doors and storm doors have key differences. Screen doors are simple structures, typically composed of just a frame and a screen, designed to keep out bugs while allowing air circulation. In contrast, storm doors are heavier and more complex, built to protect your home's main entry door from weather and intruders. They usually feature an aluminum frame with interchangeable tempered glass and screen panels, allowing you to switch between ventilation and insulation. A storm door offers more protection and versatility but generally costs more than a basic screen door.

Instead of a security door, you might opt for a heavy-duty screen door made from durable mesh, which allows better sunlight and airflow. Additionally, you could enhance security by installing strong locks on your existing door. A double-cylinder deadbolt provides robust security; however, be aware that some local laws prohibit them due to safety concerns during emergencies.

The extra insulation helps reduce energy costs by minimizing drafts and temperature exchange between indoors and outdoors.
