Customers say: True professional

"We had Jonathan from TMP tile come in and he was very professional and made suggestions knowing what our HOA would require. Very satisfied on the 2,230 square foot job. They completed 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, the kitchen and living room. I would highly recommend TMP Tile."

"Eddy & his Brother William were a god send. The fixer upper that we recently purchased was built in 1985. TPA Flooring Company refinished ugly red parquet floors to a beautiful new warm light brown tone. They then installed new floors that match the color perfectly. They are complete experts at what they do. They kept us updated every step of the way during our remodel process. Simply the best team to work with ever! I donâ t have words for how strongly we would recommend using this Company"

"Ivo was prompt, affordable and a real professional. We are so happy with our backsplash. Once the job was completed, two tiles looked too dark and Ivo came out 2 days after I contacted him and switched them out. No Charge! That is customer service. I would recommend Elite Tile & Marble highly."

"I highly recommend Suncraft Handyman Services. You get high value work at a reasonable price. David did a great job installing our bathroom toilet and pedestal sink plus hookup during our rebuild following Hurricane Ian. He also did a repair on our baseboard trim which was very helpful. I was very pleased with the outcome. Suncraft will do a great job for you."

Small jobs welcome

"Delorn did an excellent job installing the tile in our bathroom. He was very professional, always on time, and paid great attention to detail. The finished work looks incredible and completely transformed the space. His pricing was also extremely fair for the quality of work. I would definitely hire Delorn again and highly recommend him for any tile work."

Small jobs welcome

"We hired Mitchell and Glen to paint our kitchen , living room, dinining room, hallway, and bathroom. They were courteous, friendly, on time, and got our project done in the time frame they stayed in the bid. Their work was really good! We covered old gold paint with a pleasant light aqua. We will definitely have them back to do more work! Thank you Mitchell and Glen! Great working with you!"

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.

Yes, construction materials like tile, lumber, drywall, and hardware can be disposed of in a dumpster, just not in your regular garbage. As you’re planning your project, just make sure to rent the correct size of dumpster based on the scope of your needs and be aware of weight limits. Tile weighs a lot (along with other construction materials), and your costs could increase if you exceed the weight limit in your contract with the dumpster provider.

To make a bathroom look bigger, choose light-colored, medium- to large-format tiles. Light colors such as white, cream, or light gray make a space feel more open, while dark colors, busy patterns, and small tiles can make a bathroom feel smaller. It may seem counterintuitive, but small tiles can shrink a room visually due to the increased number of grout lines. Using medium- to large-format tiles creates a more seamless look. For the best effect, pair your light-colored tiles with a matching or similarly colored grout. This minimizes the grid-like pattern and gives the floor and walls a more continuous, uninterrupted appearance, helping the room feel significantly larger.

It’s best to start with tiling the shower floor before moving on to the walls for the most visually-pleasing results. When taking on any tiling project, you’ll want the wall tiles to “sit” neatly on the floor tiles rather than overlapping them. Finishing your floor tiles first will allow you to place your wall tiles without any gaps, holes, or awkward intersections.

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.
