"Company review for local business-- This time: Ants short-circuited well pump switch & needed replacement (Last time a long while back: We moved in to house and needed a pump installed to existing well.) RESULTS: Both times, Billy Clark (and sometimes his crew, as needed) were fast, knowledgeable, honest, and-- to prove that last part-- reasonably priced. Both times their installation (Last time) and replacement (This time) worked just fine. Last time, power company had power surges due to bad grounding which caused unequal loading issues, and paid for replacement, but Billy and crew made good at very reasonable rates, and both service calls (Both for the new well hookup and this recent call) were fast, effective, courteous, and reasonably priced: AND-- MOST-IMPORTANTLY-- worked just fine (other than the power surge-- which was NOT well company's fault). I know enough about wells and electrical & mechanical things to know that they treated us fairly. Yeah, I'm glad to write a review for good techs. Would use again and recommend. "Florida Leak Detectors’ Technician, Manny, actually arrived about an hour before the appointment time which was not a problem for me. I was glad that he was able to fit me into his schedule on such short notice. He thoroughly explained how he would pressurize each plumbing line during his testing process. After he performed those diagnostic pressure tests, he donned his scuba gear and inspected every inch of the surface of the pool and the spa as well as the underwater light. It turned out that we not only had more than one leak in the spa jet lines but there was also a leak in the spa drain. Manny did a great job of explaining how to monitor the pool to confirm that the leaking had been fixed. He gave me his card and assured me that if I was not satisfied, I could call him back. But he stated with professional confidence that he did not think that would be necessary. The price was reasonable for the detailed work he performed. I highly recommend Florida Leak Detectors."

"The crew showed up on time and worked very quickly, perhaps a bit too quickly. I don't think they paid enough attention to what they were doing. They were very friendly. That's the good news. The bad news is that they stacked things in our garage with no concern for the boxes marked FRAGILE, crushing some of the boxes. Thankfully nothing appears to have been damaged. We then noticed that our diningroom table was badly scratched on one end. Several members of the crew assured us that it was that way when they picked it up in Largo, but my wife and I had never seen that damage before and it was clearly visible. I wasn't going to argue with them, but I'm certain that they damaged our table. Then I found that my Sleep Number bed was assembled incorrectly. Every possible thing that could be installed backwards was done so. The air chambers were clearly marked "this side up" and were upside down. The mattress outer envelope was inside out. The air hoses were cross-connected so the wrong side of the bed adjusted when you used the remote control. Either the person who assembled it rushed, couldn't read or I don't know what. Not the end of the world, but I had to completely take the bed apart and start all over. Kind of disappointing.

"The company replacing my septic tank drain field, CPR-Charlie Pritt Repair, co-ordinated having Don's Septic Service come out and pump my septic tank before completing the drain field work.  Jerry from Don's Septic said the tank was very heavy inside with 3 1/2 feet of sludge.  That's why they had to charge a little more than usual.  Jerry said I should have the tank pumped out every 6 years and they will send a reminder.   I was happy with the service and glad to know a company I can call on when/if I need them..."

"All of the plumbing in our home began to back up due to a blockage in the main drain.  The drain clean out fitting was not visible above ground and was difficult to locate.  Tom worked diligently and patiently from the roof vents to locate the clean out and, once located, was able to quickly and effectively remove the blockage.  We were impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge. We are happy to recommend Tom without reservation.
