Whatever you do, don't pay him upfront!  He never showed up to finish the job.  I tried email and phone and got no reply. Just putting this warning out there for others!!!

The two employees worked diligently and attempted to unclog the grease blockage through the sink, the roof and out at the septic tank.  It took awhile, but through their determination they were able to unclog the mess with a high pressure jetter.  Unfortunately, at one point they left the kitchen line uncapped and forced water up through the system which caused a minor flood underneath the sink.  I attribute this to human error, but it resulted in me needing to purchase a dehumidifier to mitigate some water damage to my wood floor.  Despite this, I would hire them again because of their good-natured humor and perseverance.  The electrician in the crew helped me with a problem with my water heater at no charge.

Tom did what 3 previous companies didn't do.  He got on the roof and clean the mainline rather than taken shorts which worked for a couple of months.

All of the plumbing in our home began to back up due to a blockage in the main drain.  The drain clean out fitting was not visible above ground and was difficult to locate.  Tom worked diligently and patiently from the roof vents to locate the clean out and, once located, was able to quickly and effectively remove the blockage.  We were impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge. We are happy to recommend Tom without reservation.

Tom was very helpful, after calling him with a wash machine/shower back up situation, he came to my house after hours to trouble shoot. Due to the darkness setting in it was necessary for him to return the following day. He cleared the line and suggested a septic company that could pump the tank. He was courteous willing to help resolve the problem. I would highly recommend his company!

My 7 year old got out of the shower Saturday night to inform us there was water on the floor..  She wasn't exaggerating.  The tub wasn't draining and there was water flowing out of the bottom of the toilet.  We checked the master bath and same thing.  Thank goodness it was only water and no sewage!  I tried snaking the main drain myself with no success.  We used every towel in the house to get the mess up.  After 3 hours of futile attempts, I threw in the towel (no pun intended).
I found Tom on Angie's List and called about 10:30 that night.  He put me at ease immediately.  He said he could be out at 7:00 the next morning (Sunday!  Why do these things always happen on the weekend?) and he would call when he was on his way.  True to his word, he called at 6:35 and was parked in front of the house by 7:30.  Professional, nice, easy going and willing to answer any and all questions. After no luck at the access in the backyard, he informed me he needed to get on the roof.  I had NO idea plumbing took place from the roof.  After 10-15 mins of snaking from up there, the clog had been dislodged and water was flowing freely.
Could not be happier!  Tom Brown is a class act in every sense of the word and now has a customer for life!
