"TPT Painting was so responsive and reliable. They took down a huge decorative arch that we thought would be impossible to take down without ruining our wall but somehow they were able to successfully remove and repair the wall so it looks like it never was even there. They also painted the entire interior of my house in just two days and did such an amazing job. I highly recommend this company, they were not only skilled but a pleasure to work with."

From the initial consultation to the final touches, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, skill, and attention to detail. The consultation process was seamless, with the project manager offering valuable insights and recommendations that truly enhanced the final look of my home. The painters were punctual, courteous, and incredibly meticulous. They took great care to protect my furniture and flooring, ensuring everything was left spotless at the end of each day. "Sky Painting recently completed the exterior painting of my home. Pablo and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and neat. Pablo works with integrity. He completed my home exterior paint job in 3 days from power washing to painting. He even suggested practical ways we can maintain the beauty and integrity of our home. I canâ t wait to hire them again to begin the interior of my home. This company is not the cheapest, but they will do what they promise."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

Yes. It's another reason many people choose to use the spray over an adhesive, as they can change patterns or remove it entirely with ease if they choose. You can use acetone with a rag or a vinegar and water solution (1/2 cup of vinegar to 12 ounces of water) with a cloth to help you scrub away frosted spray glass. NEVER mix these two methods together, though, and always work in a well-ventilated area.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Technically, mineral spirits are a type of paint thinner, so they can be used for the same purposes. In most cases, pure mineral spirits are preferable to other paint thinners. Still, if necessary, you can successfully use paint thinners for most of the same applications, such as thinning or cleaning oil paints.

You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.
