"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"The move was a smooth and pleasant experience for us. We were really stressful before the move. However, Toni and his friends were professional and really did a great job in helping us move from Harrison, NJ. Highly recommend others to try Ziptozip moving for your move."

Small jobs welcome

"Very, very well. Lite Movers helped us identify the cheapest way to handle our complex move. They were wonderful to work with and sent us a great team of movers. Prices are reasonable, service was great, and they'll haul your unwanted furniture for a reasonable cost. A friendly, professional team from the moment you call to the end of your move."

Small jobs welcome

"I had a mixed experience with Flex. They were able to get the job done eventually, but they showed up at 10:15 for an 8:00 am move, with no ETA or call to say they would be late. Customer service didn?t provide any real info, they just promised the movers would provide an ETA (which they never did, although they did show up eventually). I get that delays happen, it?s just bad to not give the customer any update, and bad that customer service doesn?t have access to info about where the movers are. The movers seemed a bit lethargic, although they got the job eventually. Some minor scuffing on the furniture and walls. Understandable but not ideal."

Moving questions, answered by experts

In Wilmington, foundation repairs require extra care due to the city’s clay soil and frequent moisture issues. Electrical and plumbing updates in older homes are sensitive areas, as improper work can lead to safety hazards. Roofing and basement waterproofing must be handled precisely to prevent leaks. For historic homes, using appropriate materials and methods is crucial to maintain both value and compliance with local guidelines.

Helpful?

When moving into a new home in Wilmington, prioritize checking the HVAC system for efficiency, especially given the city’s seasonal temperature swings. Inspect the roof and gutters for signs of past water damage, and assess the electrical panel if your home is older. Wilmington’s high water table makes basement waterproofing essential, and updating locks or adding a security system can provide peace of mind.

Helpful?

In Wilmington, quality moving work is evident when projects align with local building codes and show attention to moisture control, such as well-sealed basements and proper drainage. Look for recent inspection reports for major systems, energy-efficient upgrades suited to Wilmington’s climate, and careful restoration of historic details in older homes. Documentation of completed work and visible craftsmanship are also strong indicators.

Helpful?

Completing moving projects in Wilmington can boost your home’s value, especially if you focus on modernizing kitchens and bathrooms or finishing basements, which are highly sought after in the city’s historic neighborhoods. Enhancing curb appeal with updated landscaping and adding off-street parking are also attractive to buyers. Preserving original architectural features can further set your home apart in Wilmington’s competitive market.

Helpful?

Wilmington homeowners often favor open-concept living areas that blend historic charm with modern convenience, such as restoring original hardwood floors while adding smart home technology. Exposed brick walls, energy-efficient windows, and flexible rooms for home offices are trending. Outdoor living spaces, like patios or decks, are also popular, especially in neighborhoods with smaller yards, reflecting Wilmington’s blend of tradition and contemporary living.
