"I was thrilled with the entire service. I love dealing with small business, I called and shortly after the owner called me back and came and quoted the driveway the same day. Area of the driveway where water was a problem was removed , stone installed in area and entire driveway resurfaced. With all the equipment they had they made it look easy. Looks great!"

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Yes, baking soda and vinegar can remove rust from concrete. Vinegar is acidic and can remove rust stains from concrete on its own. Adding baking soda may increase abrasiveness, which could help loosen some of the stain even more when scrubbing the stain. However, a stiff-bristled brush can do the same.

You can hire a landscaper to clean up your asphalt driveway or make minor repairs. You can also hire a company that specializes in asphalt driveway installation and repair. For cleaning jobs, most landscapers charge by the hour. Pressure washing a driveway costs between $100 to $350, but spot treatments and refilling damaged asphalt will cost extra.

The best pressure washer nozzle to clean a driveway is a surface cleaner with three wheels to ensure you get smooth, even coverage. The attachment allows you to deep clean a driveway’s large surface without much strain on your body, especially if you add two extender wands. Choose a pressure washer that offers 2500 to 3000 PSI and about 3 gallons of water per minute.

Oil can permanently stain a concrete driveway if it fully dries or sits for weeks without cleaning. Concrete is porous and absorbs the oil deeper over time. That’s why it’s best to remove an oil stain when it’s wet by applying an absorbent material, sweeping the area, applying dish soap, scrubbing, and then rinsing.

You can clean light stains off of concrete using a pressure washer with 2,000 psi, or you can clean tougher stains if you use a smaller nozzle and point the wand closer to the stain. You may also need to go over the surface more than once for a deeper clean. If you want to clean concrete faster, consider using a pressure washer with a psi of 3,000 or higher.
