We purchased another home in Queenstown, MD 21658 with Tom Dodge Central Vac and there were not enough ports, so Tom installed the new ports and brought in new equipment to keep is rolling. "I just had a technician come out to see about my issue with the furnace condensation pump. He was more of a salesman than a professional, instantly launching into "year-round care plans" and trying to sell me me a new pump before even checking the functionality of the old one. So much hemming and hawing over trying to find out the age of my furnace, presumably so he could try and sell me a new one. Then, he comes at me with the price: New pump plus rerouting the frozen discharge line to the washer discharge? $650. This is obviously not even close to the true price. When I told him not to try high-balling me, he asked "How much, then? Give me a number." No. Unacceptable. Do your job, charge a reasonable price, and everyone is happy. This is no way to run a business ethically. Don't work with Desmond H&C. Don't encourage this kind of salesy repair work or this sort of attitude. They might fix your problem, but they're going to try and upsell you at every turn and treat you like an idiot"
