"wasn't able to do the project in the time frame so we didn't use him.  He was very quick to call back and set up a meeting.  Said he would be able to do the job but then saw it and said no he couldn't.  His pricing was good but he was just a one man service with no helpers.

"Our job started with complete removal of our old cabinets, counters and backsplash which was done in a few hours. The new cabinets went in the next day and and we had to wait 17 days for the new counters before work could be completed. Once the counters were in, the rest of the work proceeded in a timely manner. All communication was easy and immediate. Dave Poison was very easy to work with and his crew was experienced and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them."

"Dale was right on time and assessed the project of installing my new Tesla 48amp electric car charger in my home garage. He quoted a more than reasonable price and did an incredible job with a professional attitude. I wish I could show pictures of the finished project because it's amazing!! Highly recommended!!!"

"It was very frustrating because of delays, he told me it would take about 2-3 weeks initially, and took well over 3 months.  It was very difficult to get a hold of this provider, and to get them out on the dates that were scheduled.   We live in a community with a Home Owners Associations and needed documents in order to do our project, which took over a month to get turned in.  I have since tried to get a hold of the provider regarding our windows not working properly, but still have yet to receive a phone call back.  It is disappointing that this company will not return my phone calls after the job has already been paid for. "

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

An architect is usually involved in the process of determining the layout and structural features and requirements of the home itself, taking into account the local codes, climate, and materials needed to make the home structurally sound. Architects may communicate more with contractors and subcontractors throughout the building process. In comparison to architects, interior designers typically focus on the aesthetics of a home interior and possibly exterior, helping the homeowner decide on color schemes, textures, and materials to incorporate into the design.

Services include creating technical drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings for construction or renovation projects.

Yes, professionals offer custom designs, including lattice tops and decorative post caps.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

No, it’s not legal for unlicensed individuals to conduct structural calculations for buildings or building repairs. Not only do licensing requirements prevent DIYers from tackling this project, but mistakes can also be extremely dangerous and put your property and anyone inside or near it at risk of severe injury or even death. You should always hire a licensed and certified local structural engineer to make structural calculations.
