I was browsing home advisor on a Sunday night and was matched with Dave Grimes of Cypress Contracting. Monday morning I received a call saying he was in the area doing another job and could stop by afterwards. I am very satisfied with Dave's work replacing my vent and will definitely contact him again in the future when I need more work done. "They did an excellent job of keeping us updated on the project, and it was started and finished as promised. I have two Labrador Retrievers and one of my big concerns was that all construction debris and material was cleaned from the back yard when the job was complete. I was extremely happy when I found the yard in the same condition at the completion of the job as it was when it started. Honestly, from the condition of my yard, you would never have known they were there. I've had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, and to say I was 100% satisfied with Spicer Bros. and how they handled this job would be a gross understatement. "We needed to have a walk-in-shower installed to replace our 20 inch high whirlpool bathtub. Through Angie’s List we found the perfect contractor in Calloway Corporation LLC. The owner Keith stopped by within a day of posting, looked at our layout and what we wanted done and he was back a day later with the estimate which was very reasonable for the work we wanted accomplished. We had to revise the original estimate a few times only because my wife wanted extras added which was not a problem. The owner and his right-hand manager Katherine were more than agreeable and cordial in meeting our needs and goals. The work crew was very punctual showing up every day at 0700, military time, 7:00 am. Retired Navy, what can I say. The demolition phase included R J and Jeremy removing the old walk-in shower and attached closet, removal of the huge whirlpool tub and the large Glass Block Window. Removal of the window necessitated cutting a hole in the siding, removing the old insulation and boards. Luckily, we had two boxes of new siding in our attic for the initial house build which saved us money along with floor tiles that were used to patch and enlarge the floor. Once the backdrop for the new shower was installed with the necessary braces for tie in of the grab bar and teak chair that same day the two carpenters installed new insulation and siding. And honestly it looked as if it was the original work. The carpenters were outstanding. Very meticulous, paid attention to detail, and did not miss one nail on outside clean up. Masters of their Trade!!!! What really impressed us was the way they treated our home with respect putting drop cloths on all the floors leading to the bathroom work area. They also did a top to bottom clean up at the end of each day’s work. The tile setter Rob is a Master of his trade. Probably one of the best tile setters in Delaware. Talk about perfection!!!! His final work looks good enough to be a multi-million-dollar mansion. Our walk in shower looks fabulous. Keith and Katherine provided us with the best sub-contractors in the area. The Plumber, Electricians, and Painters did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterward and took all waste products with them. Not only did R J and Jeremy work on demolition they also built beautiful, sturdy and space saving shelves and put on perfectly closing folding doors, installed new tiles and installed the grab bar and teak seat in the shower and installed our new vanity with all the hardware. Everything came out Beautiful. My wife and I both love what they accomplished for us. I know this was verbose but I wanted to instill in anyone who needs a top-notch contractor and crew who complete a project with pride in workmanship, work ethic and trustworthiness to call on Calloway Corporation for any project. "The experience of having a roof installed on a home that is attached to a neighbor has all the pitfalls that could negatively affect your relationship with your neighbor. As well as affecting the other neighbors because parking is at a premium at this city location. Paddys eliminated those pitfalls by performing in such an efficient manner that the work performed was accomplished in a single day minimizing the pain to our neighbors. As for the quality of the workmanship, Joses crew was as professional as they come. They were polite and responsive to my requests. Also Brian the QC inspector was professional in performing his oversite to ensure me that my neighbors home was as good or better than when the roof work was started. Matt the project manager was quick to respond to whatever I asked of them. These individuals demonstrated Paddys customer-focused culture and professionalism in all aspects of their job, be it workmanship, communication, or customer service. The overall experience was performed flawlessly and met or exceeded my expectations."

The new siding retained the look of the original wood with the advantages of a maintenance free material. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."
