Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"The service was great. They gave a lot of really helpful suggestions. They replaced our bulbs with low energy bulbs. They put in weather stripping in areas needed as well. They were great to work with. They gave a detailed report on how to lower our energy usage."

He took measurements and scratched out some information on his pad.. I told him that I intended to review my options before any decision. I offered payment at that time and he told me there was no charge for this service. It struck me as odd that he told me that what I had agreed to pay $19.00 for was actually free but I asumed billing would accompany an actual report/proposal. A month on I've never seen anything like a report although I have been charged via credit card for the inspection service. Perhaps the report-recommendation is still on its way? "We met with Jeff initially for an estimate on a property we were purchasing. He worked with us to have the work performed right after closing. His crew did a great job, all work was performed as outlined in the estimate with no hidden charges. We did add a couple small items to the scope of the project with no problems. His crew removed mold damaged materials and sprayed to deter future mold growth. They also installed a new sump pump and a perimeter system at the back of our basement, as well as a new bath vent in the attic. Work was performed timely and to our satisfaction the first time. Gabe was the project manger on site and was very good at responding to our questions throughout the project. We would recommend Charter Oak for both mold remediation and basement water proofing. They use the same perimeter system as another highly rated company on Angie's list."
