They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. They specialize only in chimneys like building, rebuilding and refacing the chimneys. Our chimney crown was falling apart and they rebuilt it. It was painted with some kind of stucco that started to chip off so we had to remove that and they refaced the whole thing with a veneer stone. The price was a lot more than what I would have liked to pay, but we got what we paid for. We got some lower estimates from some fly-by-night companies which were unprofessional and not licensed. We felt like The Chimney Doctor were the only people that knew what they were talking about. We didn?t want to get the general contractor out because we figured this would need some specialized experience. Their punctuality was very good since they were there on time every time."
